Blows COD away by miles, more of a thinking mans game than a rush in and shoot everything. Just played black ops and i enjoyed this more than that, and when you consider this is an old title it must have been awesome on release but i overlooked it. Glad i bought it cheap! worth twenty quid let alone eleven ninety nine! BUY IT!

 Excellent

This is the best war game I've played upto now, I played this game on the hard setting, but the online game part is far better than the game itself, I enjoyed playing this game and can't wait for the second version of battlefield.

 excellent game

I am totaly shocked that people have given this game 5 stars, the only reason that it has 2 stars in my view is that the single player is quite good but thats not the point of a battlefield game

The abillity to destroy buildings is good but people take to to far and sysmaticaly destory a whole base so you have no cover when you spawn and get totaly ....... ( i think you can finish that sentance)

The total lack of a way to revive you fallen team mates is something that needs to be changed and the fact that the air strike and the mourter is to power full to be in common hands, they should of keeped the commander system from the other games

In short this game is totaly rubish and if you liked the old battlefield games i advise just keep playing them and hope that changes are made

P.S. Sorry if it turned into more of a rant than a review

 Decent

Battlefield Bad Company is a pretty good game. The campaign is fairly good and the online is a bit.. meh. The A.I. are infuriatingly accurate in their shooting which can result in a few hairs being ripped out lol... The good thing is that when you reach a checkpoint and for example if there are 5 enemies and you kill 2 of them and you die, when it restarts from the checkpoint, the enemis you killed before will stay dead.

 Bad Company = Great Company

Battlefield Bad Company is an astonishingly good game, especially when it comes the to multiplayer side of things. The single player story mode is great. It contains intense battles, where there are basically no limits. You can approach your objective from any direction. You can go in like a ninja, using surpressed weapons, and the silent factor, or (my personal favourite) you can go in with a bang, literally. If you don't won't to enter a building through the front door, that's fine, just create your own by using your heavy array of explosives in your arsenal. Wether that be a grenade launcher, RPG or C4. The characters in this game are brilliant. They're filled with humour. They assist you in your mission without getting in the way too much as well. The multiplayer is where it's at though. The destruction is insane. The maps are HUGE. The enjoyability factor is clearly present. Endless amounts of fun. 10/10
