Modern day fears come to life in a familiar, yet extraordinary setting: a small American town swarming with alien life. The government is desperate, struggling to contain secrets so terrible they can no longer be kept. Everything hinges on the action of Aeran Pierce, a former Special Forces assassin thrown into one of the most explosive moments in American history.

When Blacksite came out it was abit hyped up. The trailers were good and the demo was intresing. I deicded to get it like many people did on release day and as soon as i played it i loved it so much the gameplay was fantastic and so fast paced. After the third level though it was the same thing over and over again. Same objective to do, same thing to kill, same structure as before. I did enjoy finishing it but it was finished by the evening. I was pretty angry as i payed £39.99 for this and it gave me 5-6hours of gameplay! Its a nice break from hard working shooters but it lacks the intelligence from the best games. I have to admit i did enjoy it but it gets a 3 as its extremely short, no plot, graphics averege and a let down for all of us buying it on release date and expecting a no 1 hit.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars seriously, the reviews were harsh

i read what the magazines said about this game, and remember being shocked when i actually played it. It was described as poor, pathetic and boring. i found this game quite the opposite.
The graphics were impressive, in areas a bit basic, but some effects such as looking down the gunsight were very impressive. The game is quite lenghty, and has some stunning boss confrontations. the team mate system works well, i found no issues there. the guns and enemies were exiting, could have been more variety in both areas though...
All in all, i would not dismiss this game immediatly as you were told to by the magazines. This game has potential and i found that it delivered. I enjoyed playing it and prowdly added it to my catagory of first person shooters :)

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars amazing

this game is amazing, as i hate the call of duty series due to there being far too many war based games, this takes on the role of first person shooter games somewhere other than a war in germany which makes a nice change.theres not millions of weapons to get confused over you have a few that you can get used to which is great.some rather easy to get achievements too, some online and offline ,all fun to try and get, i paid a lot more than £22.99 and certainly was not dissappointed
