Championship Manager 2007 allows you to manage your club to glory, dealing with everything from tactics and training to transfers - everything you would expect a real-life football manager to do without owning a sheepskin coat.
The introduction of an International Management option enables players to manage their country and be a part of the biggest football tournament in the world.
An innovative new Match Analysis Tool is an 'under the bonnet' reveal of statistical information relevant to every player and every game including; goals scored, runs made and shots/passes/tackles made or failed. This offers each manager a true representation of the information on offer to top flight football managers.
Managers will now be able to praise and criticise players in a brand new team talks feature and give individual instructions to players either pre-match or at half time and receive staff feedback on performances. Plus behind the scenes there is also a huge backroom staff of improvements including transfers, negotiations, news, media and pre-match build up along with player and club data accurate up to the closing of the August transfer window, a refined AI system and the introduction of two new leagues: Conference North and South.
  • New Game Modes: 8/9 exciting Challenge Modes at club and international level as well as the traditional Champ Man over 15-20 seasons with the option to stop playing after 3 seasons.
  • Enhanced Transfer System: The transfer system will be updated for Season 06/07 and will feature greater support for the rules of specific countries and their divisions/leagues and improved transfer negotiations.
  • News and Media: An enhanced news and media system will allow the manager to make press releases and be the focus of media hate campaigns. Greater use of fan, player, manager and pre-match build up categories will further enhance the variety of the news and media.
  • Expanded Job Information: Now includes a Job Centre where the manager can advertise for a new assistant. Define the job role and contract details and see who applies
  • Xbox 360 Live: Go head to head against rival managers in Online Battle Mode matches. Full online Manager Profiles (Gamer Points) so there is no disputing who the best manager is. Downloadable season data, new challenges for Challenge Mode and national Hall of Fame high score tables for Xbox 360 Live subscribers.
  • Tactics Training: The manager will be able to design their own set piece drills within Tactics pitch, then test them out on the training ground before utilising them within a match.

 Better on the pc

I am a big fan of championship manager games so i decided to buy this one. Although its an average game its still worth ago if you buy the pc version or wait for this one to go down in price. Its abit difficult to grasp the controls at first and the transfer system is bad you can buy any player at there value which is abit disappointing. Still entertaining if you like football management games.

 get it on the pc

to be honest the pc version is better as the system of champ man does not transfer well (like the pun?).

the transfer system is awful, the season is unfortunatly boring unlike the classics of the pc like 01/02.

the achievements are poor and i am going to trade this game in straight away, not worth a buy or rent.

I love football manger games, and this game tickes all my boxes for what i look for in a manager game. this game is much better on 360 than on pc. Its a shame they didn't make anymore on 360.

 Good enough

Doesn't have as many features as Football Manager 2007 or LMA 2007 but it is a good game to play, one that I play often, but I can't play it for long though, 30mins at the most!

 Too much to grasp

I have been a big fan of football manager games but this is slow, boring and to much messing around with tactics etc and the game play is so slow.
