I am a Forza fan through and through but whilst waiting for the next Forza release there is only so much you can do on the old one so i got hold of GRID and was very impressed.
The graphics are excellent and for those of us who do not like to slow down and enjoy a good crash the the game allows this without too dire consequences. (when set on beginner anyway).
It is a very different approach and interface to forza but once you get used to it and established yourself, then there are lots of different activities to do and a steady and enjoyable progression through the game.
The only negative comment is that the start of the game is a bit vague and you are unsure of what you are doing for a while but as soon as you have earned some money you realise it has all just been a taster and glimpse of what is to come now you can own your own cars.
Great value and worth a play whether you are a serious racer or just like cars and crashing them.
Brilliant as a system link or online multiplayer.
If like me you long for a replacement for the Grand Tirismo games you enjoyed as a child, then this (as far as the Xbox is concerned) is the answer.
The format of the game is excellent and fun, graphics are stunning and the game play is challenging and fun.
boring, poor , nothing like needforspeed or forza 1 crash and its over .
the 3rd game i ever bought for my xbox and it has been amazing to play through and have all achievements for it. SIMPLY AMAZING DRIVING GAME FOR ITS TIME
in my opinion the best racing game ive played for playablility, brilliant online game a must for 10 quid!!
