Grand Theft Auto 4 (Classics)

Totally agree with the above, good game but doesn't come close to living up to the benchmark set by GTA San Andreas, which in my opinion was the best game they could have possibly made at the time.

If GTA IV had all the great features of San Andreas (i.e. harrier jump jets, pumping iron @ the gym, tattoo's etc. - all the little things that make a big difference) but with better graphics and, if possible, better gameplay GTA 4 would have been unbeatable.

Definitely worth buying for this low price though, and San andreas' graphics are very dated.

GTA IV is always going to be a classic purely for the hype that surrounded it pre-release and it is a very good game. But it isn't the greatest game you will every play or is it, in my opinion, a large enough step up from the previous GTAs.

The online play is fun and refreshing but it's the sort of game you can get bored of quite easily.

But now that the price has been dropped, definitely worth it.

Awesome game play and shooting engine, driving is really good (However you always use taxis as driving between missions takes too long), great storyline, quite a long game with a lot to do in it. Loved this game. The only downside I can think of is that the free aiming can be dodgy sometimes.

I could not wait for this game to be released and got a copy of this straight away upon release. If you didn't then this is the idea oppertunity to get in one of the best games (in my humble opinion) of the last couple of years. At this price, it's a steal. Beleive the hype and treat yourself to an amazingly imersive game.

What can I say?

I've had this game for PC, for some time and my little brother got a Xbox 360 for Christmas which he was over the moon with but wanted this game for his 360 and he hasn't been off of it since.

It isn't the best game of the franchise, I'd still put San Andreas as my #1 but it's definitely a good game. For the price, you won't regret it.
