The graphics were good when this was released, but do not hold up as well now. The story line is an interesting concept, playing as a double agent and pushing the boundaries as to how far will you go to stay undercover. It continues from the last generation of Splinter Cells. Gameplay wise, not all that much has changed, for new players this is a stealth action game where how you play really depends on your own choice, gun everyone down if you want, or senak around them. It feels a bit of a misstep, a missed oppurtunity, but ti is still a good game. The campaign is a substantial 16 hours (more if you attempt the extra challenges) and the story pings along at a nice rate. It's since been overshadowed by other franchises, but if you've never played this, I'd recommend it, especially for those who are planning on getting the upcoming Splinter Cell: Conviction, which looks absolutely astonishing, hopefully a real return to the excellence of the series 1st and 3rd outings.
