here comes the pain was one of favourite ones out of the series, as the rosta on it was nice.. how ever since then the franchise is feeling run down.. the gameplay is the same as well as graphics improving slightly better than its previous ones. this one here is my last purchase into thq smackdown. the multi player is awful!!! anyone here claiming its fun is probably a lag switcher.

if you are a dedicated wrestling fan, then its a buy, for me wrestling died a while back and unfortunately 2010 has killed my interest in wrestling games.

Another WWE game published by THQ. Is it worthy of being a WWE title? Well, if you've played any of the previous WWE titles, you will feel a huge difference when you start up the game.

The graphics are better than last year's version and the button layout is the same. The only transition from '09 to '10 which I didn't like was the actual in-game wrestling. They removed the momentum bars, so you have no idea how damaged you or your opponent is (until you start to se them limp). This also means you can't store a signature or finisher, you have to use them straight away or they're gone to waste. Other than that, the game has improved quite a lot. The music is just like all other WWE which makes it more relaxing for me to browse through and they've added other match types e.g. championship scramble.

They really put a lot of effort into the create modes. You have a lot of freedom to customise a created superstar and the option to create an entrance movie aswell as a big bonus : create a road to wrestlemania storyline. As far as create modes go, this is perfect.

Road to wrestlemania is similar to last year's, so if you liked it then, you will like it even more so now.

The achievements are fairly easy to obtain with the exception of 2 (considering there's 25, that's fair).

To summarise, this game can be hard to adjust to at first, but you'll get use to it and enjoy it.

Overall : 4/5

  Great game

This game has awsome grapics, came within 5 days, the story lines are 100% original even a few twists i did not expect to happen, theres a new story line creater that i'll admit is time consuming but can be a bit fun, over all great game and great price!

  So much fun.

Out of all the SvR games to date this has to be the funnest of them all. The career mode still needs alot of work and there should be online roster updates! The game is one which you can play for hours without loosing it funness. I strongly recommend this game to anyone and at this price it's an absolute steal.

lets get this straight i am not a wrestling fan and havnt been for a good few years now but i do usually find the games fun. I just found this game to simular to the rest, the graphics and gameplay hasnt really changed.

I didnt find this game very entertaining, it is really really easy on normal diffuculty which spoils the fun and then when you put it on hard it is to hard which also ruins the fun.

I do belive if you are a true wrestling fan you would enjoy this game but if not then i think you should stay away.

Good points to this game i might add is how much you can customise your characters and moves set.

best smackdown since Smackdown vs raw06

This is by far the best Smackdown game since SVR06 it has a good updated roster with most of the new young stars. Career mode is ok but the road to wrestle mania mode is really good. As it fetures a divas story line and one for your own created charcter. Some. New modes include create a story designer which is great fun and very easy to use (u can also upload or download creations of XBOX Live) create a logo and you are now able to edit WWE a Superstars attire. Online is a bit of a shame as there are no online acheivments. The acheivments themself are easy to get I got a thousand in a week ; ) . So overall if ur a SVR fan then this si the game for u
