Operating under the National Command Authority, a relatively unknown entity of handpicked warriors is called on when the mission must not fail. They are the Tier 1 Operators. There are more than 2 million Americans who proudly wear the uniform, of which some 50,000 fall under the Special Operations Command. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a plane above and beyond even this select group. Their exact numbers, while classified, are believed to be in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence.

Medal of Honor's gritty single-player campaign is inspired by and developed with actual Tier 1 Operators, and gives you the unique ability to step into their boots. Utilize the surgical skill set of these elite warriors -- in combination with the overwhelming force of the U.S. Army Rangers - to infiltrate enemy-held territories in the unforgiving battlefield conditions of Afghanistan. This unparalleled experience offers the most authentic and relevant combat to date.

Getting back to the core of heart-pounding, all-out action, Medal of Honor multiplayer plays out in close quarters where the individual player's skill is the most important tool for survival. Two teams of up to twelve players battle against one another on eight custom maps in the unforgiving mountains, valleys, and cities of Afghanistan. The unique game modes feature modern-day vehicles, realistic destruction, plus a weapon customization system that grants you access to hundreds of combinations of mods. When the battle is over, see how you stack up against other players on the game's skill-specific leaderboards.

what can you say about Medal Of Honor's single player campaing?
1: This game is unbelievably short! 3-4hr campaign, well worth 40 pounds? i think not.....
2: the game feels unfinished, controls are clunky, AI is poor and predictable, it feels rushed, possibly to come out before Black Ops??
3: Graphics were a real let down, i thought the game was going to take things to the next level, sadly... this is not the case, it reminds me of operation flashpoint, maybe not as bad as the game but not much better.
4: There is not one mission in the campaign that blew me away just a helicopter sequence and quad bike ride, other than that nothing really, the game never really got going and then ended :(

on the multiplayer side of things, can Medal Of Honor redeem itself?
1: No, if you like sitting at the back snipping then this is the game for you, unless you do this you will not earn many points as snipers are everywhere to take you out....it is such a sniper friendly game, doing anything other than sniping will result in numerous deaths from snipers hiding on the other side of the map.
2: Very limited weopons, graphics identical to BFBC2....

Do not pay 40 for this game.................

Single Player is OK, not brilliant, but nothing special either, everything in the game has been done before, and better. The multiplayer component of this game must rank as one of the most frustrating I`ve ever played, definitely feels rushed, and in my opinion DICE's poorest and laziest offering to date. If you're the kind of gamer who loves to camp hours on end (personally I don't have the inclination, and anyway...life's too short) then you will love this game; if, on the other hand, you're a casual gamer (like me) who likes the occasional `run & gun' foray, then be prepared to get your head blown off...A LOT!!. The game is marred by morons with sniper rifles, and it did not take me a very long time to realise that for me, this game is missing something very important....the FUN factor. I've never had such a miserable time playing a video game before.

 Oh what a shooter!!

I read IGN's review on the game and they gave it a rating of 6. I thought, oh my god this sounds like a right disappointment. So I listen to friends and they said its great. Bought it, played it: And thought, this is the most under rated game ever!. Its just brilliant, infact. no its great. Black Ops is coming out next month and well of course Black Ops is expected to be the best, and will probably be the best. But this game is just one of the best. Has a good cover system, the gun fire effects, physics, animation and graphics are great. Glad I ignored IGN's review and trusted the critics that matter the most, us the Gamers. Must have for shooting fans!!

As a lover of FPS games I was really looking forward to this game, but I found myself disappointed. I really liked the other MOH games but I found this version was a COD wannabe as they tried to update the franchise by getting out of the World War II genre like COD and make it a modern war fair game but it failed.
I think maybe the designers and programmers had something else on their mind as they have not done as well as they have on previous games. Buying the game Friday afternoon I started playing MOH campaign at 8.00 and finished it in a few hours and this was on hard (which is actually easy) for people who play FPS games a lot and its meant to be veteran difficult (Try playing COD veteran I guarantee you will die 90% of the time). Also for me the graphics not great it looked a little childish and rushed which is a shame because it did have a glint of something special for example the opening level.
Even through all of these negatives I have found positives the fact that you have to fight the Taliban is new up-to-date and appropriate for this time. Also I liked the fact that you can hide behind a wall line up and then shoot the bad guy in the hea, seeing blood pool around the body and also blowing body parts off on the sniper levels is a nice little detail.
I enjoyed the Tier 1 levels their just the same as the single campaign but as your timed it makes MOH a challenge and awesome kills will pause the clock.
I have not played the multiplayer games yet but hope its more of a challenge than single player. I think you should save your money and wait for COD BLACK OPS release 9-11-10
