Very good gameplay and graphics. But only bought it because it was on offer. I only used it because fifa 12 stopped working.

  a great spin off

normally the world cup and euro fifa spin offs are carbon copies of the lastest fifa games, but this one improves on fifa 10 quite well.
the passing and shooting feels more realistic..no longer will you be able to score every time with a curling 50 yarder into the far corner!!!
i bought this game on release day and im still playing the online mode now, the online world cup is a treat and the new online league system works well to keep people interested. theres enough offline to keep you going until fifa 11 so if you can pick this up cheap i would highly reccommend. a great addidtion to the fifa series

  great in alot of ways...

I go this game a few weeks ago, and after a disappointing world cup for England, I had to try and win something with them. so the game,I got Fifa 10 as a joke to play when mates come round, but strangely enough I found my self addicted to it. I found the manager mode fun. so I stepped it up a notch and tried the world cup. And my first impression was wow how nice is it to see a colour full game, with all the mud and brownness of new games, it seems odd to come across a game with so much fun a colour. the colour really made it great for me the commentary is top notch and the game-play is simple. the one thing I must say is the controls are very clumsy and often can make you really annoyed causing mistakes and problems. but all that aside the penalty's are fun and realistic and the games fun and great for a laugh. all-round good buy.

  Football's Coming Home! (Not Literally...)

Well, I'm new to the Xbox, but something I'm not new to... Football games. There is one weird sound I can use to describe football games...

Meh..

But that isn't the case this time, this is the one truly absorbing Football game out there, the one that makes you cheer when you score, and moan when you conceed.

Graphics: 91%

Gameplay: 90%

Lifespan: 80%

It's a good game, honestly, just try it and love it...

  Good treat for summer!

Good follow on from where fifa 10 left off, some nice opening scenes, great football licence- just missing out on having the official world cup song on it which would have made the menu screens better to surf through. Overall a good fill in slot before fifa 11 is released. Plus you can make England a much better team than they really are!

I dont normaly bother with football games as i get bored of them and not really a big football fan any way. but with the world cup on now it got me wanting to play one, so decided to buy this (so i can make sure england win the world cup haha), and it was worth it, fun to play and graphics are really good for a foooty game. overall great game

Got this game the day after it was released and me and my brother have been hooked since. The crowd, the atmosphere and newly improved game play really helps you to get into the mood for the main tournament itself. You can choose from 199 nations and try to get them qualified for the tournament or you can get straight in with the action and play the main tournament straight away. You can also play captain your country which allows you to create a player or take control of an existing player and try to work your way up the ranks in the squad and make yourself captain of your chosen nation. Great game and Fifa is improving all the time and is now so far superior to PES and always will be.
