The first test drive unlimited was brilliant you just want to keep playing to unlock more things. Test Drive unlimited 2 has all that and more + the online casino looks amazing. #1 car game of the year after need for speed hot pursuit being a let down.
MUST BUY and with the free casino and car its a bargain!
This is a great looking game, there is no doubt about it. If you enjoy driving around in nice looking locations, collecting cars, houses and clothes, then this will be good for you.
If you enjoy a fully realistic driving experience, it might not. Car handling has some issues, although if you work at it, you can get used to the arcade driving style.
However, the major issue is whether the publisher can make the servers run smoothly. Launch day, everything fell apart and the game wouldn't even load if you were connected to the net. Hopefully this won't happen again, but the mere possibility might be enough to put you off.
The original test drive unlimited was the reason I purchased an xbox360. Tons of exotic cars and loads of free roaming tarmac to rip up! add the online community that comes with the game and its makes for endless hours of play and cruising.
The 1 thing that I think will let this game down for many people is so far they have been unable to obtain Lamborghini licence so some of the most famous super cars will be missing. Plus bikes are not includued but have been rumoured to appear later on as a download pack. all info can be found on official website forum.
Ifyou like racing games i recon mend you getting this its brillint game you can gamble and and join your friends and tune your cars i dont think people have gave this game a chance there still sorting servers out i used to be a admin for xbox live but they gaver information every week so if you be paticent with the eden im sure this will be a fun game and thwy will sort out the grip and traction soon thank you for your time reading this ;)
I was really looking forward to this game, having got the original when I bought my first XBOX many moons ago. The single player game is a real disappointment, too easy and with a comical storyline and over theatrical soundbites. Online was unplayable for the first 5 weeks, as the servers were constantly down and awaiting a patch. Well the 195mb patch finally arrived and it's still rubbish online. You can't join your friends (I appeared 17 miles away from my friend when I attempted this) and if you manage to appear in front of them in free roam, they're sitting in mid air inside an invisible car. Do yourself a favour and buy the original, as it was complete on launch, or download a zx spectrum emulator and play chequered flag instead
