  Good value For Money

This is an excellent game for the price and has a good set of options between workout and what they call Zen based exercise. I have used this after a strenuous workout on UFC Trainer by using the Zen (Tai Chi) exercises.
The method of clicking in on the buttons is abit more tricky than many other games as the button is small but overall a good item to buy.

Good game but could have more content

this game is great for keeping fit, and has a personal trainer so there is someone to keep you motivated. it also has a few gym games these are fun bet there isn't many of them. overall I feel this game could benefit from more content.
all moves are picked up accurately and menus easy to use.

I got this game when we bought the Kinect after reading all these amazing reviews.... What can i say,' feel the burn' aint the words!
I've only been using it for the past 3 days, but it already feels like ive run a marathon! The next morning after the 1st day of using it i could hardly walk! But thats a good thing!!!! Im only about 1 stone overweight but am terribley un-fit, so if your like me, your bound to REALLY feel it after the first few times using it.
This is SO much better than ANY keep fit DVD. With personalised menues and endless choices for workouts ranging from beginners to advanced, plus fun gym games- where you can have up to 4 players, this really is the job. I have no doubt i will get the results im looking for, its just like having a personal trainer.
When working out you have to 'keep in rythem' with your trainer, this is find amazing, as it really keeps you on your toes and lets you get the move bob-on.
Truley innovative stuff.... cant fault it! Totally worth every penny. i cant wait for the summer to show off my new toned self :)
Plus if you join Xbox live, it unlockes new workouts including the Skinny Jeans workout!! GREAT! :)

  Feel the Burn!!

I've been using this for 2 weeks now, and can say it's a great substitute for a personal trainer. It really makes you ache.

The workouts are progressive in difficulty, but you are going to need a fair whack of space to play it in as you are jumping from side to side in a lot of the cardio activities.

My only gripe with it is that sometime it says you are out of rhythm when you are totally in synch with the onscreen trainer, this just leads to a bit of frustration especially when it affects your total workout score.

But it's got me back into keeping fit and I look forward to doing it every day. 4/5

  Getting Back In Shape

| | See all BugEyeJoe's reviews (3)

Eight years ago I suffered a serious and ongoing spinal injury. Prior to this I had been a keep-fit maniac, my main activities being karate and mounting biking. Since the injury I've been advised by the medical professionals to avoid high-impact work-outs and stick to Pilates, Tai Chi and so on. I was given a ten year window before my back became deteriorated to the point that surgery would be on the cards and last summer through to the end of the year I was knocking on that door and the usual exercises weren't doing the usual stuff. My wife also has recent health issues - the joys of mid-life - and suggested getting a treadmill. For that money I thought I'd just get a Wii instead. Good stuff but when we started chatting to folk about the Wii many said how much better the Kinect was... so we went out and bought one of those as well. It's good having the Wii and Kinect as it ups the variation no end, but I have to say Fitness Evolved is head and shoulders above anything else in terms of keep fit. Much of the Wii restricts you to the balance board and a work-out feels just that - restricted and clunky. The free-movement here is the major selling point for me, it feels much more like being in a real aerobics class and the exercises are more akin to the routines I was familiar with back in my sporting days.

Weight loss is not my main priority, although the cherry on the cake by-product of getting back in shape is that I have lost half a stone in three weeks. As someone who can't go out for a jog on concrete or uneven terrain and who never cared for gym culture, this product is perfect. I can even have a swig of tea whenever I want!

  A Great Excercise

| | See all JP1981's reviews (4)

When buying this I was unsure if the workouts were going to be any good, i've used Wii Fit and found them to be average and not actually make me ache. When doing my first excercise on Your Shape it provided a great workout and I felt it the next day, mainly because the workouts are different to my usual gym routines that I do. The only element I miss from Wii Fit is the weight monitoring which helped to spur you on but this gives great incentives to keep you motivated (Gamerscore, Goal Tracking etc).

  fab work outs

Very impressed with this work out game, Ive just had a baby and always struggle to follow good routines i like that this has the option for after baby on it. Been useing for only a few days and already feel the pain which can only be a good thing. Its brilliant not having to hold controllers kinect picks up my every movement cant fault this game if your looking to shape up will be investing in the download content too as looks promising lets face it its cheaper then a gym.

  Seamless integration with Kinect

| | See all Johnnypublic's reviews (4)

Very impressive. Ideally position your Kinect quite high up (near eye level) and the game scans you completely into the game. No fuss, no extra hassle re scanning you every time you leave the play area for a drink (unlike EA Sports Active).
Yes, you do have some extra downloadable content if you want to expand on the original game, but the game is now 33 quid, whats an extra few quid on top to get Cardio Boxing, for example, and get a great work out?

Top quality product.

  Good but

It's annoying that it lists the DLC before the work outs supplied on the disc, seems a bit of a cheek as the game costs 40 pounds and they want more money already!

The actual game is fantastic!
