This is the definitive Grand Theft Auto IV experience - the highest rated game of all time is back in this all new Complete Edition.

Grand Theft Auto 4
What does the American Dream mean today? For Niko Bellic fresh off the boat from Europe, it is the hope he can escape his past. For his cousin, Roman, it is the vision that together they can find fortune in Liberty City, gateway to the land of opportunity. As they slip into debt and get dragged in a criminal underworld by a series of shysters, thieves and sociopaths, they discover that the reality is very different from the dream in a city that worships money and status, and is heaven for those who have them and a living nightmare for those who don't.

Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City
Grand Theft Auto: Episodes From Liberty City is the brand-new Grand Theft Auto, containing two complete games - The Ballad Of Gay Tony and The Lost And Damned - together in one box!

The Ballad Of Gay Tony
The Ballad Of Gay Tony injects Liberty City with an overdose of guns, glitz, and grime. As Luis Lopez, part-time hoodlum and full-time assistant to legendary nightclub impresario Tony Prince (aka "Gay Tony"), players will struggle with the competing loyalties of family and friends, and with the uncertainty about who is real and who is fake in a world in which everyone has a price.

The Lost And Damned
In The Lost And Damned, experience Liberty City as Johnny, a veteran member of The Lost, a notorious biker gang. Johnny has been creating business opportunities for The Lost in Liberty City but his first loyalty must be to the patch he wears on his back and to Billy Grey, the club's President. However, when Billy returns from rehab hell-bent on bloodshed and debauchery, Johnny finds himself in the middle of a vicious turf war with rival gangs for control of a city torn apart by violence and corruption. Can the brotherhood survive?

First up, the guy below has got his reasoning wrong for the lack of planes. The REAL reason why there are no planes is because the game takes place in a city, and there is no reason at all for a city to have multiple airports. Hence the helicopters!

The game itself is brilliant fun, and is a departure from the previous GTAs. Your protagonist has come to America to experience the American dream, but it is not as he envisioned, having been given the wrong impression by his troubled cousin. But this storyline sets the way for great gameplay and graphics that are perhaps slightly dated now, but were great for their time.

The car handling is far more realistic this time, and you can see their suspension bob up and down when cornering, or driving on kerbs.

Along the way Niko can acquire several girlfriends, or meet up with friends for an evening out. To be honest this social aspect of Nikos life is probably the games flaw. It gets frustrating when you get constant phonecalls throughout the day asking if you fancy "doing something this evening", although initially it's a novelty worth exploring.

GTA 4 is gritty. Far more serious than the previous games - unless you play the "Ballad of Gay Tony" expansion, where the missions can be deemed, at best, as "somewhat unrealistic".

The Lost and Damned expansion is a bit boring to me. Biker gang warfare doesn't really interest me, and I hardly played this portion of the game.

Serious issues? Well, the frame-rate hiccups sometimes, and there are visual discrepancies, but overall GTA4 is a fantastic game. And, if you haven't got it already, this, along with the included expansions, is an absolute bargain at a penny shy of 18 pounds.

 GTA 4 is ok

Boring. Drive home from work through the grimey grey streets of Britain, get home, shot GTA 4 on and drive through the grimey grey streets of New York.

This is the 1st GTA game I have stopped playing half way through. Very boring and samey. The only thing in the game that i thought was different and original was the drink driving missions. But they are fun for about an hour then... back to the boring driving accross New York to a mission, you die, restart, re-cut scene, drive back again.... poor.

NO Planes!

 Good Game!

This is amazing value to be honest, GTA 4 plus the 2 DLC packs for such a low price is a bargain. Some people may find this game boring, but there is more fun to be had apart from just the missions, get a couple of mates to go online with it and you have a whole city as a playground :) or you could go solo and find fun ways to die lol, I've spent many hours trying the find the funniest ways to destroy things. Another reviewer moaned about not having planes in-game, the reason for that is they were afraid that people would be sick enough to recreate the 9/11 attack, there is helicopters though :D it is amazing go for it
