Operating under the National Command Authority, a relatively unknown entity of handpicked warriors is called on when the mission must not fail. They are the Tier 1 Operators. There are more than 2 million Americans who proudly wear the uniform, of which some 50,000 fall under the Special Operations Command. The Tier 1 Operator functions on a plane above and beyond even this select group. Their exact numbers, while classified, are believed to be in the low hundreds. They are living, breathing, precision instruments of war. They are experts in the application of violence.

Medal of Honor's gritty single-player campaign is inspired by and developed with actual Tier 1 Operators, and gives you the unique ability to step into their boots. Utilize the surgical skill set of these elite warriors -- in combination with the overwhelming force of the U.S. Army Rangers - to infiltrate enemy-held territories in the unforgiving battlefield conditions of Afghanistan. This unparalleled experience offers the most authentic and relevant combat to date.

Getting back to the core of heart-pounding, all-out action, Medal of Honor multiplayer plays out in close quarters where the individual player's skill is the most important tool for survival. Two teams of up to twelve players battle against one another on eight custom maps in the unforgiving mountains, valleys, and cities of Afghanistan. The unique game modes feature modern-day vehicles, realistic destruction, plus a weapon customization system that grants you access to hundreds of combinations of mods. When the battle is over, see how you stack up against other players on the game's skill-specific leaderboards.

Great game, very good single player but way too short as always, online play is what made me give it 5 *

 Does it beat cod?

I consider this medal of honor to just be a clone of call of duty, just trying to earn money by copying cod from going from WW2 to modern day. And i belive Medal of Honor beats cod. It has a great campaign with great enviroments, grahics and gameplay, a bit slow for some gamers though.

The online is awsome which i truely belive beats call of duty as it is just more fun. This is only let down with the few amount of people playing online. There is only 5000 people on at one time and on the new free dlc only about 20 people play that at a time.

It has less options then call of duty but at the end of the day its more fun and more enjoyable. 8/10

is it rele worth all the money ??

i played the single player .. the story was epic but the game was very jumpy tier 1 well its way 2 hard u get the hole way down the mission then u get 1 grenade thrown at you and you have 2 start again ... my advise don't buy it till it comes down in price

The most Enjoyable First Person Shooter I have ever played

Positives
+Really good game play, gives you that "back to the wall, how am I going to get out of this situation" and comradeship with the other soldiers feeling.
+Feels incredibly realistic, keeps the story and missions grounded and doesn't go over the top like Call Of Duty does.
+Tense missions, especially the ones requiring stealth.
+Excellent graphics and sound effects, the dialogue is very sharp.
+Very obvious that the developers have taken on board what the military advisers were telling them.

Negatives
-It can at times be difficult hearing what characters are saying over gunfire and other sound effects, suggest subtitles are turned on.
-Enemies don't always react very well when being shot.
-A little more choice in paths to take would be good.
-Due to the realism some of the military speak where sentences are shortened can be hard to follow, I wouldn't take it out as it fits in with the game but some kind of reference page in the manual would be good.

Single player is decent enough(good graphics, fine controls etc)but it really is short(3 hours 20 mins to complete the game on hard,3 hours 40 to achievement hunt).Online is pants.Only 2000'ish players online at anytime and it really is sniper city(not my idea of fun).If I wanted to go camping I would buy a tent.
This game should have been outstanding both single player and online but doesn't quite hit the mark.A decent FPS but not spectacular, fine if you want to kill a few hours solo playing.Price wise anything over a tenner and I think it's overpriced even with a free online code.
