Nice gimmick, but doesn't stand up to official controllers.

I bought this from a high street retailer and at first I was delighted. The light is bright and very nice to look at and the cable is a good length.

However, when trying to use the controller for Battlefield 3 I noticed that the analogue sticks are no where near as sensitive as the official Xbox 360 controllers. This issue may not bother some people but it is very, very frustrating when you're trying to aim in a precise manner or having to react quickly.

Other than that it's a good controller and nice to hold. I just wouldn't recommend it if you're a serious gamer.

  Suprisingly Good

Very good controller, the LEDs are very bright and the picture on Play.com does not give it justice. the plastic does feel a little cheap but at 14.99 it is quite cheap. It also works with PC games as a nice little add on. All in all very happy with it. I hope Play.com adds more colours soon.

Very attractive controller, with transparency and great lights. Works fine for me. Suggested!

  Looks cool but thats it.

Bought this and have rarely used it, looks good but thats it. I'd buy an official wireless controller instead if I had the choice again.

Looks good but mine broke within a month.

the wire broke within a month. LED's look good but not worth the money.

after having used wireless controllers from day one of owning an xbox360, i did a bit of research on the net and discoverd that you can reduce gamming lag by using a wired controller instead of a wireless one, which i found out has a about a 2 to 3 mili-second delay,, you may not think thats not an issue but when you play cod it does, so i decided to buy a wired controller.. the controller itself feels slightly smaller than the official pad, which is prob why the messenger pad doesnt fit on it. the led's are very bright and do look nice,, you can turn them off, or just have them set to come on when the pad vibrates.. all in all feels nice and light.. now the downside.. the analogue sticks feel to loose to the touch and seem rather delayed in movement with first person shooters. i even changed my movment settings on cod to compensate this but it did nothing but made it worse.. so if your after a wired controller for cod,, go for the official one.. not this.. however if you want to use it for other games it seems fine.. so. its nice and bright, feels good in your hands,, but lacks precise movment with the analogue sticks.. be warned..

  Thumsticks don't glow

The shape is 'almost' identical to the offical controller. Although you can't attach a keypad.

The Thumbsticks are a little weird: I usually have my sensitivity settings quite high so I easily noticed that there is NO feedback unless you move the sticks a couple of mm from the centre. For some this might not be a problem.

The LEDs are great, however I feel the plastic should have been clouded to soften the light.
