Now my Kinect doesn't have to sit there gathering dust.
It actually reduces the gameplay area and my youngest (5) is now able to play without having to move backwards and forwards all the time just to be recognised.
I originally had my Kinect mounted at it's highest point and that's where it still stays. The Nyko manual recommends the item is fitted with the sensor between 4-5 feet for optimal performance and with my sensor bar at it's top range above the TV at the maximum recommended height I still had to play around with tuning so it might be even better at a level just below the screen.
A must buy if you are fed up of having to re-arrange your room each time you want to play Kinect or like me found it was a very expensive and under used accessory to the XBOX.

found that this item works realy well, picks up me and kids quickly and are now 2 foot closer to the tv and more room for 2 players.
Got 4/5 as its a tad expensive but id say worth it
I read the reviews and thought there are more good than bad ones so I purchased this item.
I now wish that I never bought this as my kinect is unplayble with this attached. I tried every thing as others reviewrs did. It does not pick up the floor at all, this product should be removed from the shelves!
My room almost feels 40% bigger! Works like a dream......!
I have just attached this to my kinect and it seems to be working wonderfully with no problems already. I have not had to re-tune so far, and the response on Kinect Adventures has improved by about 85%.
I would recommend to friends and am very pleased that I am able to use my Kinect now without constant problems of it not being able to track my movements. Very pleased with the result!
