 Best Rugby Game To Date

Best rugby game i have played, puts EA to shame that this game on its 1st real attempt at rugby is better than all their games

best rugby game out there (few blips)

I would say this is definitely the best rugby game on the market atm, the graphics are probably 4 out of 5 alot better than the rugby world cup game, which is very very rushed in my opinion. this game seems to run quite smooth and i must say it is quite realistic (other than passing) passing is a big let down to this game, your team mates are to the side of you so you can pass to them and it just throws it miles away at times which is disappointing. Also you cant just sprint away from every body with your prop.. thats where the game comes in to its own, its realistic in that sense.. your props dont out run your wingers!!! they could of invested a bit more time into the game but all in all im quite impressed! everybody seems to compare rugby games with FIFA.. which is unfair in my opinion.. fifa has brought an edition out every year for the past 15 - 20 years so they update it every year and work at it all year round. rugby games come around at a stab in the dark. If you like rugby (and understand how a game should be) then id recommend buying this game

 EA GET RUGBY BACK

Best rugby game out at this moment. Rugby 08 gameplay is much better and probably still one of my favourite games ever, so why dont EA bring out a rugby every year, they bring out a new fifa

 not a bad attempt

The best rugby game out at the moment. It does have a few annoying bugs but its is a good game considering this is the first real effort...look how bad FIFA was when it first came out.

 Is this a beta version?

| | See all Benj15's reviews (1)

Finally played JL rugby and was so disappointed. It feels like a beta version. There is just something missing. I felt a real lack of excitement when playing and everything seemed repetitive. The offloads completely unrealistic. With the ability to of load in nearly every tackle to someone half way across the pitch. Maybe its just me but I full agree with hunter90 rugby 08, would love to see that game revamped.

Also the seasons are pretty boring. There is nothing rely to work towards. You can basically draft all the best players.

Overall it looks like the wait continues. Will defiantly be trading in or giving to my bro.
