This is a very enjoyable game indeed. You play the part of a royal protector to the empress of your realm. Events take an unfortunate turn and you end up accused of all sorts of unspeakable crimes. Destined for the "chop", you have to prove that your really a good guy and not the monster that you have been made to look. The game itself is set in an alternate reality that combines the social trends and architecture of Victorian England, with that of more modern and even futuristic designs. It sounds odd but believe me it works.

The game is a fps in nature, however it is not a conventional shooter. It is all about stealth and decision making. As the story unfolds you go from your "base point" and explore different parts of your homeland. You can choose to stick to the set story or you can meet up with different characters, do little side missions and ultimately learn more about the story. Its rather like Deus Ex in structure but set about 200yrs in the past.

You can kill or simply incapacitate, help or hinder, learn or find out and ultimately complete the game with the mind frame of Batman or John Rambo. That is your choice. Either way you should have a lot of fun. A good buy this Christmas.

Absolutely love this game, its so addictive! The gameplay is superb! You have the power to teleport by just blinking your eyes, stopping time completely and possesing animals and humans to what you wish. You wont be dissapointed.

A mix between fallout and assassins creed. Definately the game of 2012 so far. There is just so much you can do. The powers are awesome and the stealth is the best. You will not be dissapointed with this amazing game!!!

Despite all the processing power this generation of consoles have to offer modern games all too often want to just funnel the player from one cinematic set piece to the next. For me the very best video games, such as Half-Life 2 and Deus Ex, provides the player with an interesting game world and lets them decide how best to make their way around it. Fortunately Dishonoured allows you to do just that.

Each and every mission provides players with a number of possible solutions made all the more interesting by the different powers (that are far more than just the usual fire and ice spells so often seen) and weapons that can be found or unlocked throughout the course of the game. As a result it is possible to complete Dishonoured without killing a single person or, should you choose, you can simply kick down the front door and fight your way through.

The only criticism I could level at the game is that it is perhaps over a little too quickly, my first playthrough took about 12 hours, but it is certainly a game I will return to and play differently at some point. This is certainly one to buy.

If stealth games are your bag then you'll like this game. You can choose whether or not to kill or just incapacitate (the game says you get a better ending if you try not to rack up a huge bodycount so that's my incentive for being a good guy at the moment)

Graphics are ok - nothing spectacular. For me it's the challenge of navigating areas with lots of guards, trying to take them out one at a time. The upgrades system seems pretty good - collecting runes to add to or increase your abilities.

Overall I'd recommend this game - I don't think it's a 9/10 game but I'd score it about 8/10.

It's a must buy game. Even though there are 9 missions but hopefully add on missions, but you can reply the game over and over again and make different decisions on which way to go or what to do. JUST BRILLIANT!
