FIFA 12 brings to the pitch the game-changing new Player Impact Engine, a physics engine built to deliver real-world physicality in every interaction on the pitch. Experience the way real-world footballers challenge each other for the ball, win possession, and test each other physically. Enjoy an infinite variety of natural and believable outcomes in every collision. Players feel more resilient, push and pull during the fight for possession, and recover from light challenges more easily.

Revolutionary gameplay innovations make FIFA 12 deeper and more engaging. All-new Precision Dribbling creates a higher fidelity of touch on the ball for better control in tight spaces, more time to make decisions on attack, and more control over the pace of the game. Innovations in attack are balanced by a re-designed defending mechanism, making it as skilful and meaningful as real-world football. With all-new Tactical Defending, positioning and intercepting passes are as important as tackling. Tactics and timing are crucial. Plus, CPU players have been infused with Pro Player Intelligence, a self-awareness that enables them to behave and make decisions based on their own skills and tendencies, and gives them the aptitude to understand the strengths and weaknesses of teammates in every situation.

Introducing EA Sports Football Club - the heartbeat of FIFA 12 - a live service connecting players to the real-world game with fresh, new content all the time, enabling them to support their favourite club and connect and compete with their friends, rivals and millions of other players around the world. Additional features will be revealed in the months ahead.

  • Player Impact Engine: Two years in development, the new physics engine is built to deliver real-world physicality in every interaction on the pitch. Experience an infinite variety of natural and believable outcomes in every contact. Players feel more resilient on the ball, push and pull during the fight for possession, and recover from light challenges more easily, preserving their natural momentum.
  • Pro Player Intelligence: CPU players have been infused with self-awareness and aptitude, enabling them to make decisions based on their own skills as well as the strengths and attributes of their teammates. Players who possess exceptional vision, for example, will see opportunities for through balls that other players won't. Real Madrid's Kaká will be more likely-and quicker-to pick out a run from a teammate farther away than a player with poorer vision. Additionally, teams will vary their attack based on the strengths of their player.
  • New presentation: Matches now have a real-world broadcast look and feel. Dramatically improved lighting, more authentic crowds, and a new default camera make every game feel special.
  • Easier navigation: Redesigned menu system for fast and easy navigation, featuring customizable Main Menu based on arena player, Virtual Pro and favorite club
  • Complete authenticity: Over 500 officially licensed clubs and more than 15,000 players

FIFA 12

Gameplay 10/10
Graphics 10/10
Realism 9/10
Story (Career Mode etc.) 8/10

Ok. The only real bad point of the game is the lack of possibilities in career mode. I mean u cant rial players loan them for a specific amount of time Eg. 18 Month loan instead of a season long loan or short loan (which i think is two months) Also it would be great to be an International manger. You know go to the premier league games see how well players are doing. U cant do things like hire staff or change sponsors. Hopefully for FIFA 13 You should be able to atleast change sponsors within the real life sponsors already on the game (To avoid copyright)
But other than that i give FIFA 12 a 9.5/10!!!
You should definitly pick up this years FIFA!

 Big improvement on last year!

The developers have ironed out all issues regarding "Pro clubs" this year. The dreaded button lag, random kicking and super pros have all gone making the game mode actually playable.
Career mode is far simpler and easier to navigate, youth players actually develop now.
Tactical defending completely U turns on 11's offering. 11 did essentially everything for you defensively while 12 does the bare minimum and can make the game far more challenging!

A few issues I have with Fifa 12 are:
- Referees/Assistants. EA have tried to make the game realistic and have succeeded in doing so with the officials. While some people may like this I find it incredibly frustrating when blatant fouls are not given and legitimate tackles are impeded. I would much prefer the correct decision to be made every time.
- Every team can play like Barcelona. The AI can get very comfortable in possession and rarely panic when under pressure regardless of the level of opposition

Overall, I give Fifa 12 9/10

Great fun, even on your own

I really enjoy FIFA games, ever since FIFA 97 (yep im that old) so it was only logical i buy this, and im so glad i did. the single player career and season mode is all there and still as enjoyable as ever. whats also good fun is the 'Be a pro' game mode, where you take control of just one guy in a team, that can be really entertaining. But where this game really comes into its own is in multi player, i dont mean online, i mean two people on the same screen, i play every sunday with a friend on this, and its never got old, its still as fun as the first time we played it. If you want a great fun game both for the single player experience, and for a two player shootout, get this really you will not regret it. Oh and before i forget, penalty shootouts are absolute murder, guaranteed to get you heart pounding, especially if you playing with a friend

Surely fifa can't get any better?!!

This is a top top game and in my opinion there is no other football game which even comes close to it. The graphics are unbelievably realistic, the players look so much like the real ones. Manager Mode (which is all I ever play on it) has improved vastly in the way that you now have a youth team and can promote them to the first team at any time as long as they are old enough. The prices on players in he transfer window are around about right I think, the window is so asy to navigate around and you know where you are in terms of transfers and sells. The only flaw i have with this game is that Lionel Messi IS the world's current best player, yet he isn't in the World 11 team?? This is baffling!! Perhaps the only flaw though, 10/10 for gameplay, 9/10 for the transfer window, 10/10 for the graphics, an all round 10/10 game :) bring on fifa 13!!!

 Amazing great update

This game is a good next step for EA and has no real rival as PES 2012 doesnt match up to the sheer glossy feel of Fifa 12 for me this has to be a must buy for any self respecting football fan
