Turtle Beach Ear Force XC1 Communicator Headset

A great headset and at a low price as well. I bought myself a nice surround sound system not too long ago and then got introduced to xbox live. Now I had an issue, do I buy a really expensive pair of turtle beach's considering I've just bought a sound system or do I settle for that crappy headset that comes as standard? Fortunately I discovered these and couldn't be happier. These only give you the chat through the headset whilst being designed so that you can still hear any outside noises on the side you have the headphone e.g. I have mine on my right ear but can still hear the sound speakers on the right side. The only problem is that it's wired so I inadvertently broke a pair by yanking on the wire once too often. On the upside, it's less than 15 quid for a replacement pair! Bargain!

We ordered these as we have had previous Turtle Beach headsets that have been really good. This time we weren't so lucky. The sound quality was poor, my son could harldy hear his friends through them. We ordered a replacement set, but the same problem happened again. Disappointing.
