               Very disappointing

This is not as good as the previous splinter cell games. The graphics have improved, but the controls are harder, the gameplay is more tedious and it simply isn't as fun as the others. Also, there is a trust system, which makes it easy to lose for tiny errors. I would not recommend buying it.

addictive but is short and has its flaws

After playing an old title on the PS2 I knew what to expect from this game.

The single player campaign had a good story line and was very addictive, but short. As much "double agent" involvement as I'd expected since the story line remained the same whatever your action. One real frustration of the game is not being able to lean against the wall, this made it very difficult to conduct a clean undetected kill of people coming around a corner.

The multiplayer was a real disappointment. It's not a case of spies against armed men, it's very one sided towards the armed men and all the spies can do is move around and hope they don't get detected by the vast detection tools of their enemies. Past title co-op and multiplayer have been better.

All in all, a good game, worth a play like watching a film, don't expect anything more than a weeks worth of game play.

               OLD YET UNBEATEN!

Splinter cell double agent is a must buy game , for any xbox 360 owner , who has not yet played this game. For any stealth lover this game will satisfy you with its singleplayer story , which is exhilirating nearly 100% of the time. Difficulty settings allow for tougher a.i = a tougher challenge and the storyline is very unique. However this game truly steps up , when you take it online. Due to this being out for nearly 2 years now , any one buying this may find the online oppostion extremely hard however their are bots you can practice against , as well as free downloadable content on the xbox live marketplace. This is a class game even by 08's standards and is still amazing graphically. Best game in its genre , amazing singleplayer & multiplayer experience , good list of achievements , brilliant.

This has to be my favourite game i own for the 360. It has great gameplay in both SP and MP modes. The story is good not the best of the seires but still good and the new multiplayer changes make this a great game.
