  Achievement points are for girls...!

I quite enjoyed this game for what it is and if you like Star Trek there's plenty to keep you interested. Previous reviews complain about speed, but it's never going to be as fast as a shooter because you have to put some thought into your moves.
For less than £10 it's well worth getting.

Would buy this for the price and if you enjoy Strategy games.

It's not a bad game but not the most exciting to play.

Very average game did expect more from it.

Play as Romulan, Klingon, Borg or the Federation and fight it against a number of opponents in space. The graphics are perfect and the damage taken to your ship is real and looks cool, a brilliant game.

  An enjoyable game

I wasn't sure what to expect with this game but it's actually really good once you get into it. The game is broken down into 3 parts of the Star Trek era and you have 3 difficulty levels to choose from. You can also choose which ships to buy which change as you progress through the game.
I enjoyed the campaign story mode and felt it had good variety on each mission to keep me interested. I also enjoyed the combat system and that you can repair your ships when they get damaged in battle.
My only complaint would be that the control system is a bit difficult to get to grips with at first.
Overall, I really enjoyed this game and think it is well worth buying especially now it is at a cheap price.

As a lifelong trekkie, I was dying to get my hands on this game. & for the most part, it is a fun game. Its just not as deep as I would have liked personally. Lets start with the good points. The ship models are awesome, & battles are fun & exciting. The voice acting is great & really sets the scene, & for the most part, the environment is very pretty too. Alas, now to the bad. The AI is poor, which means you have to micro-manage your fleet all the time. In a battle, thats more of a hindrance than a help. The missions are long with no saves points, which is very frustrating too. At full price, this was a poor purchase (trust me, I know), but at 17 quid its a bargain. If you like trek, sci-fi, spaceships, or are just curious, this is a must buy at this low price.

  Space. The final frontier...

Whether youre a die-hard Star-Trek fan or just a lover of great RTS games you cant help but love this game. It takes you though all genres of the Star-Trek phenomenon with guest voices of all your favourite Captains.

The story begins in the Enterprise era and, although quite short, spans seamless through the full Star-Trek timeline. You will find yourself in control of a fleet of up to four ships, which you can purchase with your command points. Each type of ship has its pros and cons, ie. Cruisers pack a punch with firepower but are very slow, whereas the smaller ships will out manoeuvre most enemies vessels. Mixing and matching the different ships can be good fun.

Graphically the game is absolutely stunning. The ship models stay as true as possible to the original series. The sound caps off the whole feel of the game, with large explosions, photon torpedoes and phaser banks discharging left, right and centre.

For this price this game is an absolute must. Give it a go and see if you have what it takes to mix it with the best!

Graphics are brilliant... with the ships, plants, astorids. everything....
The scale of Enterprise NX next to say Enterprise D is a realistic scale...not the same sizein lenght the NX is tiny when next to Enterise D...
Its 4 stars cuz theres not many missions in the game and the levels are avager 10-20 minutes long
ALL 5 captains voices are real going thru the ears NX to Enterprise E following a story of course of a vulcan who lives thru all eras eventully turning into an enemy to the federation then turns into borg
...you can complete it within a day on ensign but there are captain and admiral as well, it does get harder...you can choose which one to play when you get it...

theres a varity of ships to choose from as well in all eras...and you can have any class ships. Buy them with credits you earn from missions
