The award-winning original next-generation killer app returns with Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2. The Ghosts are back!

It's 2014, and the soldier of the future returns to encounter a new and more imminent threat along the recently completed wall on the U.S./Mexico border. The Ghosts are more powerful with an upgraded Integrated Warfighter System (IWS) but will have only 72 hours to assess the threat and stop the rebels from reaching U.S. soil. With a border that's 1,900 miles long and an enemy that doesn't play by the rules, this is a job for the U.S. military's most elite fighting unit. This is a job for the Ghosts.

Cross Com 2.0: unprecedented level of power and control: The CROSS-COM is now visible in a full-screen view! Players can directly control and give orders to battlefield elements, such as drones, M.U.L.E., helicopters, Bradley's and squad-mates.

The most authentic modern warfare: The addition of separate classes will provide a unique gameplay experience. The player builds his strategy and chooses the most adapted squad.

Visual effects: Thanks to next-gen effects - such as real-time shadows, HDR lighting, extremely realistic water, smoke, and fire effects - players will be immersed in stunning and living war zones.

Expanding on the online features that made the original GRAW so popular, GRAW2 adds: Brand new 6 original mission co-op campaign with a fully immersive experience and storyline. Featuring open-ended play that rewards teamwork as you play with up to sixteen players.

14 new adversarial multiplayer maps: An expanded arsenal of multinational weapons, character customisation options, new optimising re-spawn system, new female operatives and hundreds of new game mode options are available.

As a long time fan of tom clancy titles graw 2 more that exceeded my expectations, graw 2 leaves of from were the original graw started. two days after the ghosts put down a rebel insurgency in mexico city the ghosts are back in action only this time against a more determined enemy. the game takes place on the borders between mexico and the us ( mainly in juarez ) as the ghosts have less than 48 hours to stop a full scale nuclear attack on the u.s , with its slick gameplay stunning graphics and extremely challenging online mode this game is a must have for fans of the original graw and first person shooters.

         GRAW, but better.

It's like GRAW . . . but better. A lot better. A whole host of new weapons, better rocket launchers, a better cross-com system, better multiplayer and better assets.

It is a graphical masterpiece. Most levels are very consistent and make full use of the improved engine with HDR lighting, advanced shadows and very high resolution textures and polygons. However, physics has yet to be implemented properly in the Xbox 360 version.

The game is an aural sensation. All the weapons have distinctive, accurate sounds, choppers chop, tanks rumble and jets roar spectacularly. A range of music is in game to accompany different situations, so a stealthy section will merit a suitably subtle piece of music.

The famous gunrides are no longer just filler content - they are nowhere near as tedious and look absolutely spectacular.

Multiplayer is a real blast. You can jump into a much wider variety of matches with the whole range of campaign [and other] weapons. It also makes full use of the game engine, whereas multiplayer in GRAW had some problems with framerate and antialiasing; GRAW 2 has no such problems.

Overall, this game merits 5 stars for a thrilling campaign, fantastic graphics and a highly addictive and tense multiplayer mode.

Graw2 picks up where graw left off. Super story on single player.excellent grapics with a nice feature of a medic added to multiplayer.on-line great fun with great maps to to test your skill of working as a team. For a real challange play without drone an turn friendly icon off an enjoy the battle. This is what real shooters should be like!!!!! Super value for money.this game has been out nearly two years but still immensley popular.trust me, hours of fun!

Now, when I bought this game I was not a fan of Ghost Recon games or Rainbow Six, or anything similar. I just bought it because I got it cheap 2nd hand. However when I started to play it I fell in love straight away and here's why.
GRAPHICS: The graphics on this game are, quite possibly, the best I've seen so far. The landscape is very detailed, the enemies look, and move in a very real way, the main characters look just as good. I simply cannot fault any aspect of this. Except maybe that the lip sync with the people who talk to you via your HUD can be out quite a lot.
STORY/PLAYABILITY: The story is a slight continuation of Ghost Recon, but I played it without even seeing the original and I still kept up with the story, which is nice and flowing. The missions are quite structured, but are by no means liniar. Each map covers a very large area, even the enclosed cities. I played through on 'Normal' difficulty and then as soon as I had, I went straight onto 'Hard' and did it on that.
COMBAT: The camera view in this game is very good, which aids in the combat system. G.R.A.W uses a 'duck and cover' system where you need to move from once object to another to avoid being shot. This may sound dull, but in actual fact it adds a very realistic feel the game. You also have a system which highlights enemies and allows to to target them through walls and give orders to your team.
OVERALL: Excellent squad based tactical shooter game. Graphically amazing, great big levels, easy to use squad commands, an intuative combat system, easy to see camera angles, controls all in the right place. I was so impressed after I completed this game twice, I went back and bought the first Ghost Recon for the 360, which I am also *very* pleased with. This is a must own for the 360
