So, Lost Planet. The game that has been full of hype, apparently, the 'best looking game to hit 360 so far' Well, all these questions are about to be answered for you.
1. Good looking? Hell yes, it's like you-know-what for your eyes, although I would only play on a HD TV, doesn't look majorly impressive on my bedroom TV compared to my 1080 P HD downstairs. Nice extra's to, although nothing to get amazingly excited about in my humble opinion.
2. Gameplay, as bad as people say? Well...infuriating doesn't begin to cut it. the game to me is extremely slow, your character needs to hurry up a lot more, although you can look at it as being a slow, mythodical game.
3. Is it as good as the hype says? Well, to me it's like Halo in every way really. So, Halo is amazing, and this is great, not amazing.
Don't get me wrong, it's a playable game, but with the extra's costing an extra 15 pounds, go for the standard edition and get a good game at a good price.
Not bad, not bad at all!

After many mixed opinions about this game I decided to give it a go. On the whole, it's very good, brilliant graphics and sound effects that'll knock pictures off your wall. The stories good and will keep you interested, and it's got good replay value on alternate difficulties with different locations for hidden items. The bad points, well the control system takes a bit of getting used to especially when you pilot the machines and the FMV can get rather corny but I'm being really picky here. In general a good all round shooter that's got something for most people out there and in my opinion should've done better in other reviews, great stuff!
Really good and some nice extras.
