Virtua Fighter 5 will deliver fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping action as players head into battle, taking on a host of popular characters. The game will introduce two new dynamic characters, El Blaze and Eileen, complete with new fighting techniques and from completely different backgrounds. Play as one of the 17 default characters in the game or customize a character to become the top Virtua Fighter. Players will be able to modify their characters by selecting from four base costumes and then decorate them by attaching a wide range of unlockable and earnable items. Players will not only achieve victory by defeating highly-skilled opponents, but also by competing for prizes and earning in-game money allowing them to buy many items at an in-game shop. Further building upon the depth of the series, players will now be able to move around their opponent using an "Offensive Move" technique, adding a new strategic element to their battles.

Two New Characters: El Blaze and Eileen round out the cast of 17 dynamic fighters. El Blaze is a Mexican wrestling champion that uses the Lucha Libre fighting style, and Eileen, originally from China, uses Kou Ken (Monkey Kung Fu style) which she learned from her grandfather.

Breathtaking HD Quality Graphics: Stunning highly-detailed 3D fighting environments inspired by locations around the world allow players to challenge their opponents in unique types of arenas. Next-Gen presentation includes HD resolution (widescreen) and Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound.

    Character Customisation: Customise characters with the enhanced attachment system and customisation engine giving players more flexibility than ever before when creating their characters.

      New "Offensive Move" System: Strategic fighting is the order of the day with the new Offensive Move, meaning you can attack opponents from the side.

        Unique Character Moves and Fighting Styles: Individualised martial arts moves and styles for each character.

          Online Mode: Features an online two-player versus mode via Xbox Live.

          For my money this is the best fighting game on the 360. Could take you months to master just one character, it's that deep.

          I think this is a great fighting game on the 360. Although I don't like it as much as 4 Evo on PS2. Still better than DOA4. All that game is is pretty graphics and big boobs. And for the reviewer, turn up the difficulty. That is what it is there for.

          Gameplay (7/10) - Took me a while to get used the different controls and the layout of each button, but with practice, experience was gained easily.
          Achievements (9/10) - I received a lot of achievements throughout my 1st play through from reaching certain ranks or collecting orbs.
          Overall (8/10) - A worth while purchase, but not the best game out there.
