Prince Of Persia (With Exclusive Packaging)

Quite frankly one of the best games to date. The gameplay is fluid and well delivered, combat is a treat and the landscapes/grahpics are a marvel to behold. I've never left a game on standby just to let it show me the landscapes, but i've have found my self doing it quite a lot with this game!

The dialogue between the Prince and Elika is deep and comedic at times, just another thing that add to the atmosphere of the experinece in my opinion.Though collecting things seems like a chore, it is surprisingly entertaining. I would fully recommend this to anyone, POP fan or new comer alike xD

Dont listen to what the haters are saying.. This game is awesome!! I most definatly recommend!

The Prince Of Persia franchise is back, But is this prince worthy enough to be the Prince Of Persia, Or should he be washed away in the sands of time?

Prince Of Persia On Next-Gen Consoles is a new Prince, Not the prince of the Sands Of Time trilogy.

The Game opens up with the Prince walking through a sandstorm looking for his donkey...Yeah i no..As he gets blown away he is blown off a cliff and lands on his back, then a few moments later "Elika" a mysterious princess lands on top of you and then runs off.

This is were you chase after her and leran the ropes of the game, You learn how to run jump climb fight blah blah, Very simple.

Now the story that Prince Of Persia has to offer can be very detailed and complex but not to the average gamer.

In regards to the story your kinda thrown into left going....ummm hang on?.

The only way for you get get into the story and find out ALOT more about it is to stand beside Elika and press LT to trigger a repetivite (?) cutscene each time to find out a little more out the places, why eveythings happening, who Elika is, Her father.

It bugs me that they couldnt tell you the dialoge while your doing your mission, But no they make you sit watch stoopid cut scenes which DO help out with the story but just take to long to tell.

Now the graphics. WOW! the looks just plain beautiful it looks like your playing a water-colour painting its just stunning.

The Game runs on an engine called Scimitar (a HEAVY modified version of the Assassins Creed engine) if they can give out detail out like this in games then i cant wait to see what Ubisoft can give us in years to come.

The combat system in the game is very different compared to other games, once engaged in combat your sort of locked into a ring and all the buttons are mapped out very nice.

X = Sword

B = Gauntlet

A = Acrobatics

Y = Elikas Magic Attacks

and these can all be mixed and matched to deliver brutal combos.

I wont go on any long because ive went on long enough but to some up this game is great if you have the time to watch all the cut seens and get into the story.

Its not like the other Prince Of Persia Games, if you've played the other ones youll like this one!

When i saw this game i was wondering with its newly changed art work and improvements if it could live up to its reputation on the Old Consoles, Sands Of Time, Warrior Within And Two Thrones were 3 of my favourite games back in the good old days of the PS2, the Art Work is superb the game immerses you in an epic storyline, the new combat is very good only fighting one person instead of a group of them is a real hassle off your back.

With the new Princess added to cheat death it helps amazingly you can go through the game without the fear of death and losing your point in a game, people moan that if theres no death theres no point thats idiocy, without death you can focas on planning a root through the game no realoading at checkpoints and losing your intrest in the game its a great new feature.

My one main problem but isnt a huge one which can put you off this game is the voice of the prince himself, no its not persian not even close its a very heavy Canadian Voice Oh Yes he also pulls a lot of jokes and kinda reminds you off a human sonic trust me it will.

Whats great is the open world, its not that your telling a story like the other one the storyline is great the combat is great and the new artwork is superb, get this game it is highly recommended that you get this game.

This game is great its got similar aspects to prince of persias before but with a new combat style which is really cool when you get combos right it can look awsome you can only fight 1 monster at a time but its still awsome, the graphics are amazing. The gameplay is great 10/10
