In Shrek the Third players adventure as Shrek and his friends to save Far Far Away in a hilariously twisted fairy tale from the movie and beyond. The game takes players on an epic journey through the worlds of Far Far Away after Prince Charming storms the city with an army of villains in order to seize the throne. Players are challenged to rescue pals, face off against Charming's henchmen, gather collectibles, test their gaming skills in numerous boss fights and engage in various single-player and multiplayer mini-games.

Adventure as Shrek and His Friends: Play as favourites like Shrek, Donkey, Puss in Boots and Fiona, as well as new friends Arthur & Sleeping Beauty, each with unique abilities.

Explore the Movie and Beyond: Adventure through 20 levels from the movie and beyond that bring this twisted fairy tale to life. Visit movie locations like Far Far Away, Merlin's Hills and Worcestershire Academy plus never-before-seen places such as Stromboli's Puppet workshop and the Evil Queen's Castle.

Play Fun Multiplayer Mini-Games: Choose from 5 radically different mini-games. Knock over your friend's tower with a catapult in Shrek's Castle Capture, fire canons at the pirates in Ships Ahoy, jump through the dangerous Catacombs Leap, and more.

Battle All New Enemies: This all-new cast of villians includes hilarious gnomes, arrogant jocks and dangerous pirates. Take on bosses like the huge Ice Dragon, the devious Prince Charming and Hook's band of pirates.

Collect Coins and Unlock Features: Collect the gold coins scattered throughout the kingdom to unlock new costumes, special bonuses, multiplayer maps, extra characters and even special Pinocchio and Gingy's commentary.

Aimed at the kids really, but still quite fun.
Can get very repetitive very quickly though, and its quite easy to finish.

Graphics are pretty decent compaired to some of the other movie tie in rush jobs.

But if you wanna keep the kids quiet for a few days and they like Shrek, then this would be ideal.

         Great fun for younger kids

A very simple game. Doesn't push the X360 but my kids (5 and 7 year old) loved it. For younger kids I would recommend it but for anyone else give it a miss.

A nice bright little game made and marketed for the kids. Starts of rather enjoyable and fun but gets very boring very quick. Even the mini games are only worth a go once. Although on the up side its easy gamer points if you have an Xbox Live account. Could have been a good game if it had a bit more variety. Children who like the Shrek films will no doubt love the game.

         It's not that bad

I do have to admit that the animation is sometimes very bad. Things in the background are worst, sort of megadrive quality.

Ignoring the occasional bad animation, the graphics are just like the films and the cut scenes... I love those graphics and animations. I wish somebody would write a game that had just that style all the way through.

For a kids game it's quite good, has kept my 6 year old nephew busy for hours (kept me busy for a while as well).

1 star lost for bad animation. Oh I forgot how bad sleeping beauty is, I better make that 2 stars.

The Demo. Fun, easy, great for kids

It's a very basic game, with easy controls and a sense of humour. The graphics are nothing special, but they are great for kids.
