Dead Rising follows the harrowing tale of Frank West, an overly zealous freelance photojournalist on a hunt for the scoop of a lifetime. In pursuit of a juicy lead, he makes his way to a small suburban town only to find that it has become overrun by zombies. He escapes to the local shopping mall, thinking it will be a bastion of safety but it turns out to be anything but. It will be a true struggle to survive the endless stream of enemies, but players will have full reign of a realistic shopping center, utilizing anything they find to fight off the flesh-hungry mob and search for the truth behind the horrendous epidemic.
Dead Rising features an open level of freedom and offers a vast array of gameplay possibilities. As part of a real time system, time is dynamic in Dead Rising, marching on whether Frank is actively engaged or if he is stationary. Time also plays a role as zombies become more powerful when the sun goes down. Though they move slowly during the day, the zombies become stronger and faster at night, making it even more dangerous for players to survive. The unprecedented numbers of enemies come in never-ending waves and consist of a diverse population of former humans that have retained some memory of their previous lives, which is reflected in their behavior and appearance. The variety of different stores in the mall offers players an endless supply of resources including vehicles, makeshift weapons and more. Players will also encounter other survivors along the way and by helping them can acquire valuable clues as to what has happened.

This game has an irretating save system and is timed so whatever u do ur game will be 6 hrs. However if theres a limit to the fun u can have with it, i havent found it yet.
Whislt the survivor AI is poor but that adds to the experience if any horror movie is anything to go on when surrounded by zombies people will do stupid things, and if cornered even take there own lives.
This game is really what u make of it. If u choose to just play the story through once then u probably wont really rate this game but if ur the kind of person who just likes games for fun you will have endless fun trying to fill the screen with zombies with buckets on there head or pretending ur late for something and have no time to avoid them as u run a shopping trolly through hundreds of zombies at a time. The graphics aren't anything special however considering the amount of enemies on screen they hold up well.
Above all its just enjoyable (and cheap) which is what every1 wants from their games
Ok Game

This game is for the horror movie lovers out there to be honest.
After playing this i started to feel it was kinda the same old thing.
Although it can't be compared with other games around, it has got some annoying features which i would hope people would agree with!
there are huge ammount of weapons to kill the zombies with i do find it very boring to have the weapon kill them in the same way each time.
Wouldn't say its good for the collection. But if your a horror movie fan and always wanted to be in action killing the zombies then you should definatly try this!
purely amazing
