PGR3 I found was far to arcadey, the carrer needed a seeing to as well!
But not they've got it right with using cars and bikes now, although the selection of cars can be a bit sketchy, online this game is great fun, but the the bulldog game can become a marathon if the fox doesn't have the right car/bike for the arena. Career mode is better now but, still could do improvements.
It's PGR4!

I was going to give this game a 4 star, but there is so much good about this game and only one bad thing. The in-car display is actually better than the outside view, and doesn't restrict your view as in other games. The range of cars, bikes and tracks is huge, and the weather conditions look realistic and affect your car/bike realistically. The online races are great fun, and different every time. The vehicles look incredible. The controls are simple to pick up and play. The only bad thing are the bikes. They swerve for no reason and flip repeatedly. Looks cool, but nothing else. But this game is amazing, even your gran would like it. I assume.
Can Easily Be Compared to Gran Turismo

I felt unwelcome while playing this game which is an unusual choice of words but trying to play this game felt like a lot of work.
I could drive my own car better than the cars in this game, the whole path of realistic racing games reaks of Gran Turismo and they haven't really evolved past driveable cars.
There's nothing really wrong with the game in general but if you prefer arcade racing then I wouldn't buy this.
Quality Arcade Racer

This is NOT a realistic game and it isn't meant to be!
It's old skool arcede racing at its finest, the graphics are great, there is a large selection of awesome cars (all of which feel diffrent) and plenty of tracks to chosse from.
There are just a few minor problems which keep it from getting 5* such as the incredibly slow matchmaking system and the inability to restart a career race if you lose.
Top quality racing

PGR 4 is without a shadow of a doubt one of the best driving games I have ever played. The reactions to the controls are great and the cars are incredibly realistic. Unlike other racing games PGR also has staying power, as the career mode takes quite a while to complete, and the Michelin Test Track is great for trying out all the game's cars.
Best driving game on the 360

PGR 4 is without doubt the best in the series and has a great soundtrack and selection of cars to choose from.
The graphics when shown on a HDTV are fantastic and beautiful to look out.
The only minor flaw is that on the easiest difficulty setting it is still far too easy and you'll spend many races on your own as you have made a minute long gap between 1st and 2nd.
A great game at a great price.
Great realism!

This game is great for someone without xbox live as live is not very popular. The controls are very realistic and the graphics are great! Great value for money

PGR has been a great game throughout PGR 1,2 and 3. Now on the new addition to the series it has just as much to offer. The neintroduction to bikes is great and a lot of fun. There is hundreds of new vehicles and the online mode is great. There is one minor problem I must state. Though there is a lot of fun tracks I believe there should be more to choose from. After you have gone through the Gothem Career 2-3 times it starts to become a little repetative. With this said PGR 4 is still a 5 star game and has great value for money. Driving and non driving fans this is for you.
An awesome game!

This really is a great game and at £17.99 you can't go wrong!
I bought this game because I decided I needed a change from my normal shoot-em-ups (COD3, COD4, Rainbow Six Vegas, Stranglehold etc.).
I expected the game to be good and I was not dissapointed!
The Good -
- Graphics (especially on a HD TV) are breathtaking.
- The soundtrack is brilliant, with some great electronic music tracks from Warp Records (What a surprise! Well done Bizzare!).
- Achievements are fun and quite easy to get.
- The range of cars is brilliant, with some really random and interesting veichles.
- Online is fun, with a variety of challenges and modes to keep you occupied.
- There's a pretty massive choice of paint schemes for your cars, it can be great fun picking out the best one!
- Arcade mode is great, with lots of content to keep you occupied.
The Bad -
- When playing online, it's often just a game of bulldog, with people ramming you all over the place, this can become very annoying!
- The addition of bikes is nice, but you just can't compete when racing against cars.
- After playing for while, it can seem like you are just playing for the sake of reaching number one!
Overall, this is a great game. It's fun, graphically and adually brilliant and a great alternative to shoot-em-ups which seem to dominate the xbox 360!
At £17.99, this game is an absolute bargain!
Absolutely Breathtaking

The whole of this game is just perfect. The cars and tracks look absolutely perfect. The buildings around the tracks are pretty much picture perfect. The cars handle well and with downloadable content being added regularly it really adds to the game.
A wide variety of cars are available plus with the new addition of bikes the races really change.
