Its not terrible but to be honest its not that good either. The story line is okay, the create a skater is terrible it's so limeted i mean what happened to the hundreds of variations you could use, now its just a few clothes and a few hairstyles really.the control system is okay, bu the character moves like a robot, really stiff movement. The rigging your own ramps wherever you want is a great idea but they could have made it better as the selection is very limeted. Overall its an okay game, probably better to rent or borrow it than actually buy it. What all tony hawk fans want is a tony hawk game made specifically for hd and get back to the good days when it was an addictive skate game, come on neversoft get your act together.

This review is based only on the demo
my first thought was maybe activision has stepped it up a noch with competitors skate but unfortunitly not they have stuck with the old button mashing technique which shows lac of improvement and that they pay no attention to the marketin the demo you have 3 challenges and 10 minutes basicly the same as thps 2
if you have played skate stay away i struggled to enjoy for it has no real difference.
i suggest skate to anyone who has not played it yet but i have struggled to play tony hawks games ever since rent it or download the demo before you buy it
