who uses double AA batteries, and its not clear in the description of the product, a total disappointment, while the charge and play kit included is only 5 pounds more, but on its own its 15 pounds, what a rip off

chriswell, it does work for pc but you need the crossfire dongle to go with it. you'd be better off getting it in a pack. i got both for 30 pounds here but they seem to have removed it. the dongle's usually under 10 pounds so if it works out cheaper, get them separately. It is rather stupid that it turns out to be cheaper to get them separate than together in some cases

anyone know if this one will work on the pc as have been looking for one to us on the pc

A great controller for most genre of games except ironically FPS games. The reason being is the dead zone on the analogue sticks is too large meaning it is not great for the precision movement FPS games require. If you want a Xbox controller I recommend getting the Razer Onza which comes out at the end of February which actually has adjustable analogue sticks and a remappable button feature. For most other genres though this controller is pretty much perfect.

These controllers are standard 360 controllers and are very sturdy. The button layout is good and they are pretty reliable. Ive dropped mine a little and if i shake it it disconnects then connects again but i mean this is going to be the most reliable controller your likely to get as its the official Microsoft controller specially designed for use with the Microsoft Xbox 360 Console.

This pad and any other wireless xbox pad works on any Xbox console.

Yes it is baisicly just a normal controller with a black case. I have got 3 black ones and 1 white one for my elite and they all work no problem.

I've played with on a friends 360 elite , it was great and comfortable to play but i still don't know if it works on a xbox 360 arcade?

A great addition to your gaming experience! Compared to the old generation of white controllers the black pad is more flexible, has better force feedback (rumble function) and feels a lot more durable. However. This does have one flaw, if you are upgrading from an old white wireless pad to this one, be warned that your white rechargable battery pack will not work with this. You are almost forced to spend another £10 on getting a black battery pack, leaving you with a white pack lying around useless. Apart from that glaring flaw/annoyance, this is a great buy!
