Xbox 360 Arcade Console

Its hard to believe that true next gen gaming is here for under £200! The inclusion of a memory card plus a few cool old school games and a wireless, not wired controller, should be an irresistable offer for anyone considering making the wise decision of becoming an xbox 360 owner. The only thing the more expensive models offer is extra memory which for the majority of gamers is not needed and will leave you more money to invest in an incredible selection of quality games. Forget PS3 and Wii this xmas. The xbox 360 is an unrivelled machine all round!!! Simply Awesome Value....

taking an unbiased view on the XBOX360 & PS3 there are advantages and disadvantages to both systems. In favor of the Xbox360 it has a massive library of some of the best games out on on a next gen console, the controller is good to use for hours at a time, (Best Online Community) Xbox Live! & you can change the fascias on it (see plays 360 section for them). Against it tho is the failure rate of these consoles compaired to the SonyPS3 (ps3s do break aswell just not as often) (Microsoft do Repair/Replace quickly these days) the noisy DVD Rom/Fans, a Lack of HI-Def media Disc playback. (you will soon be able to rent Hi-Def Movies via Live! though) Overall an Xbox360 is a great system with many-many hours of fun to be had and if you get one of the new cooler consoles that dont fail as often then you'll enjoy your invested in Microsoft's Xbox360....

I've been a supporter of xboxes since launch but since my lads have just returned their ninth - yes NINTH - xbox 360 I bought a ps3 which is far superior. The rrod is still there!! My lad sent his xbox 360 away for this reason and my brother has just returned his. Both bought at christmas and both lasted 3 months. Shoddy. RIP XBox

1) The console itself is NOT wireless, if you want to go online, you will have to plug this into your home network, simply with an ethernet cable. Alternatively, if you want it to go wireless, you will need to buy the official wireless adaptor, it simply snaps onto the back of the console and plugs into one of the usb ports, you will also need a wireless router in your home for it to communicate to.

2) This bundle does NOT include a HDMI cable, it does however have a port at the back of the console for a HDMI cable to plug into, but you will have to buy the cable seperately.

3) This bundle contains a memory card, which is pretty small in memory, and is not recommended if you want to go online, do alot of downloading, and play music and movies on it. The memory card is ideal if you want to stay offline, as it provides just enough space to hold your game saves.
YES there is a slot for a hard drive, if you plan to buy one at a later date.

i have an xbox, so i suppose im probably a little bit biased; but the review below is very misleading. The 360 has had some hardware issues, though not to the exent described below. the main point is that mircosoft has now recongised the problem, and given youa free 3 year warranty. my friend broke his by knocking it over, microsoft collected it and gave him a new one within 3 weeks. furthermore it is an excellent and addictive console, multiplayer is excelled on the likes if gears and cod4, the ps3 hasnt been utilised properly yet.
