Gets a little boring

A few people have said that this game is too hard. All it takes is a little practise. The game play is a little odd as you have to press the button when you want to swing your racket back in order for it to swing forward and hit the ball.
The earlier you swing back, the harder it hits the ball.
If you press the button when the ball reaches the racket (as you would with other tennis games) you simply wont hit the ball.
I can win with grades A/A+ on the hardest difficulty on this game.
It does get a little repetitive and the mini games are a bit hard. The life span of this game is short in my opinion, not because there is not enough to unlock or achieve, but because it gets a bit boring and mundane.
Not for kids being honest

I have just had a play of the demo and by god is it hard. I lost the first two sets and only started winning in the third, I honestly do not know how kids will get on with this.
Personally I love tennis on the 360 or other consoles, but not a major tennis fan.
I shall say this, I think this is pretty excellent despite being aimed for kids, but being too hard for them, chances are though you might be able to turn the difficulty down a tad on the full game.
Personally I will grab this title if I can get it cheap enough but want to upgrade my 360 soon to an Elite so hopefully I will get in a bundle.
Excellent graphics, hard gameplay for adults let alone kids, but if there playing each other they will have so much fun with this.
Don't just right it off

not a bad tennis game to be honest; I liked top spin 2 and this is not far off except u r sega characters. Campaign/training is fun, moves r easy to pick and a good mix. Online is a bit poor.
its novel that u can unlock gilius from golden axe, but some of the other unlockable characters are weak and just the same as original characters but as a different sex. they could have made more of the unlockable characters from other classic sega games.
Enjoyable and novel. let's face it tennis games r always going 2 b repetitive so take it for what it is.
A Love letter to all sega fans

Those more technically minded may prefer the more Serious Virtua tennis but this is what you'd expect from a classic sega title bright colours and lots of fun...the tennis system is competent and the characters powers and special courts inject a party atmosphere.
The superstars challenge mode and mini games such as pounding hoards of oncoming zombies with tennis balls and smashing paint soaked balls to complete graffiti tags are a welcome change of pace and add longevity to the title.
It's also nice to see franchises like Jet set radio, Space Channel 5 and Chu Chu rocket represented while I carry on praying new titles are in the pipeline
i like it
