Xbox Live 4200 Points Card

atm it is alot cheaper to buy 2 of the 2100 points, almost saving you 5 pounds

This is a good deal, however currently you can buy 2100 on this very same site for 16.99. By my calculations that means if you buy 2, you get 4200 points for £33.98. That's a quid cheaper.

As DavidUK2000 states this is the best value card as you get more points for your money, providing you eventually use all of the points of course!!

steaminjoker: David is not incorrect in his calculations, as you say, (and neither are you), but remember that we're reviewing the points card here, which is bought from this website with real money and not microsoft points! So while your calculation maybe helpful on XBLA as people work out the real currency cost of DLC, On this website his is more relevent as it shows by buying this card you're getting more points for your money.

but to correct alot of people on here
u can use all major credit and debit cards
as i use both a visa debit and a mastercard credit card
with no problems what so ever
but i would say that i find the points on here way cheaper than on xbox live

Daviduk calculation is incorrect and shows that we get 124 points per pound spent, not the other way around -

2100 / 16.99 = 1.24

This has actually given us how many points you purchase per pound.

The more helpful calculation is this:

(16.99 / 2100) x 100 = £0.81

This gives us how much it costs for 100 points. As all XBLA products are sold in multiples of 100, having this ratio gives us a much clearer picture of how much a game costs if it is 800, 1200 or even 2000 points, and helps us show how much we spent to purchase the points. buying 4200 would be cheaper than buying 2 lots of 2100 and so a calulation can be made to see how much we have spent per 100 points using the above math.

Fantastic value for money!
After searching on many other websites, I was unable to find a deal any cheaper. The discounts really add up if you are like me and spend the points on almost every new community game that comes out!

On all the online and high street shops this is the best value. Even better than buying from the console itself.

Ontop of that this specific (4200) points card is the most value for money on play aswell.

You get
1600 For 13.99 that's 114.4 points per pound
2100 For 16.99 that's 123.6 points per pound
Or
4200 For 32.99 that's 127.3 points per pound.

Now its not that much cheaper but it adds up. And points can be used for many things.

You can

Rent some classic or new movies.
Buy some old school arcade games.
Buy some new arcade games.
Personalise you dashboard or gamer pictures
Expand the experience of some games. Dlc

Dlc includes many things. Such as songs for rock band / guitar hero. New characters, new maps, new weapons, new cars, the new gta iv add on "the lost and the damned"

Points are extremely usefull, and you will find it very difficult if not impossible to get better value for money on here

It may only be %5 off but it all adds up and it's worth it for the long shot!
