I normally don't play RTS games. I find most of them too boring and uninteresting. However this game is different: it has a cool sci-fi story and FPS/TPS action gameplay combined with the strategic elements of an RTS. "Purists" of old-school RTS will probably not like it, but for people like me who care more about the overall gameplay than the finer details, this game is a lot of fun. Because of the variety in the gameplay and the huge collection of combat maps available I can play this game for years. There is considerable replay value here. So if the combination of T/FPS action and RTS sounds fun and interesting to you, you should look into this game. I don't care what so-called "professionals" think, I had a lot of fun with this game. Be prepared for frustration though, as RTS games tend to be rather punishing if you make bad judgements or mistakes.
