I cant believe the lack of reviews, It seems people are more inclined to moan than to praise. Anyhow this game is immense, incredible, visually brilliant, theres jumpy moments, irritating (but not too much) testing levels, great story, great huge expanse of islands and options. I could go on for ages but its a fantastic enjoyable game in my top five favourite games ever, and Ive been around since Atari and Colecovision days. I would simply say buy it without any doubt.
This game is worth every penny!! Different to mainly all games on the market it gives a story line that blows your mind and much much more. The online Co-op missions are fun and worth playing as they are Completely different to the Campaign so your not playing the campaign over and over like many other games. Online Multiplayer is maybe not as good as it could be but is deffinently not bad, the best part is the gun layout's and kill cam. It also has features which no other game has unlike the repetitve Call of Duty, Medal of Honour and Battlefield Games that seem to be the same everytime!!! I won't give anything away in the storyline but all i would reccomend is buying this game.
Returning to the island paradise setting of the original Far Cry 3 is, for me at least, the best in the series by far. Having seen family members and friends captured by the psychotic pirate Vaas following an adventure holiday Jason sets out to get them back. Starting as a neutral figure, afraid to even fire a gun at first, he is quickly transformed by his experiences as the game progresses until pretty soon all manner of options are available to the player to best defeat his enemies.
Truth be told the actual story missions, while always passable and sometimes even inspired, are far from the most interesting aspect of the game. What truly makes Far Cry 3 special is the fantastic open world that allows for all manner of unique, and totally unscripted, events. Talk to anyone that has played the game and they will tell you of events that only they will have experienced. Fortunately the actual gameplay mechanics are also very good with weapons having a real sense of weight to them as well as the welcome freedom to choose from going in all guns blazing to taking a more stealthy approach thanks to the use of 'Takedown' moves that can be unlocked.
All in all this one comes highly recommended.

The Fallout series are my favourite games of all time due to there freedom they allow. Never playing any other far cry games, I had my doubts but was absolutly suprised. This is up there with fallout, so much freedom and multiple of different game styles you can take to complete the game. Highly recommend! It has not dissapointed me at all.
