before ordering this i read the reviews, one said they were old stock and dont have the hdmi port, i phoned play and was assured that this was not the case, i would receive a new model, when it was delivered it was a 2006 model with no hdmi port, be careful if you require this feature, they are old stock

Ok, I know this is a great bundle, but was seeking advice on which to buy? this core one or the Arcade? is there much diffrence? is the core more likely to get the red ring of death than the new improved Arcade version? come to think of it, Is the arcade version improved? My 360 recently konked out with the "ring of death". How convienently when the warranty just expired! You can't get a base unit from any of the high street retailers for less than £190. Grab this whilst you can!

If I buy this bundle and a memory card will it work the same as the normal 360? Its for my boyfriend and I don't understand what I'm doing to be honest.

My brother recently bought this package and NO it doesn't have a hdmi port just standard av.

however....for all of this and 2 games and an extra controller you cant go wrong. hdmi or not.

if u want cheap hd gaming then i recommend you buy this package and then get the hd component cable.

thats what we did and its no different to my ps3 with hdmi,and thats on a 50inch plasma so its deffo good either way. :)

Can someone who has bought this please tell me if it has an HDMI port? All core consoles manufactured after July 07 have it, but it doesn't tell me on this site, and I'm only interested in buying it if it does....

I already own a console with 20GB hard drive - I have need this to be repair once and MS was great.... I use the console as a DMR all the time (got a load of DVD on hard drive of PC and stream them to the 360) its great for my little girl who loves Shrek one day and Monsters Inc the next!!.
I bought the core system for the bedroom - again to use as a DMR (at £100 its much cheaper than a PC....) plus I get the bonus of been able to play games in bed!!!!

You are now probably wondering about how I got this for £100.... well like I said I already have the prem console - so al I needed was the 360 itself!! sold the wired controller, wireless controller and my copy of Froza 2 which amounted to about £50!!!!

BUY IT ......its a steal!!!

I did have a core console until i got an elite. I think console is for beginers . Only giving three stars because not as good as the elite console.

This price is amazing. There has been a lot of bother with red rings of death, but Microsoft are very good. You ring them, talk to someone that understand you, they email a label, give you a number to call UPS at your own leisure (up to 10 days) and they collect. returned in a week or two. A HARD DISK WILL BE REQUIRED AS FORZA 2 HAS LARGE SAVES. my friend had this problem. The game though is superb, so is the xbox live arcade game texas hold 'em. £150 is peanuts for this, the 20gb HDD will be cheap too.

This console has the best games available. I bought it for GTA 4 and even though it is on several platforms, ONLY the 360 will the extra missions etc. through downloadable content. party on!
