You cannot go wrong with this game. Excellent graphics, excellent play - the physics are amazing and the story line is epic. You see the true beauty of the game when you play online - either in story or multiplayer mode - it is addictive and full of adrenaline, and a reason to buy yourself a headset if you do not have one. Prepare to start hating the Locust Horde as you battle your way to freedom.

I loved gears of war 1 !!! But they have ruined gears of war 2 !!! I loved the campain ! The story was awsome !!! The new weopons are excellent, you can tell they thought about them. But i am hugely disappointed with the online play ! Its just to slow !!! The whole game needs speeding up !!! I used to love having shotgun battles and snipeing on gears 1. You dont get any of the classic fun and pace from the first gears, what a shame !!! Could of been brilliant, i think they were given to much money and they went overboard.....

Waited a while before i bought this because i heard a lot of bad reviews but DAMmmmmm what a mistake. This game is unreal!! class graphics fantastic gameplay. both single player and multi :)
