Rise Of The Argonauts

First of all i don't know what some people who reviewed this game were playing because the combat is outstanding, its fast paced with many combos and atributes to gain and use. The music is well scored and the story well written and interesting, giving hints and tieing in other storys and characters from greak poems/ literature. I studied classical civilisations in school and read about these characters and events and although slightly played up for entertainment purposes it is really enjoyable to play references to them. This is a uniqe RPG with no HUD for combat and other atributes letting the magical settings and amazing visual details shine. strangely for an RPG there is virtually no micro-management which i missed but after ten minutes i didn't care i was so wrapped up in it, just remember that the combat is fast but the story is at a nice slow RPG pace for those all about whats going on. If you skip cut scenes you will find your self lost or missing out. I bought mine on play trade try looking at those prices first for best results if you like acient greace and gladiators excetera and RPG's you will enjoy this amazing game!

I've finnished this game and i've played hundreds of games but only ever finnished 2 . It has an amazing story line which keeps you hooked and the fights are brilliant . But they saved the best to last . Little slow at the start and a bit of talking , but interesting talking . Normally i would just press a button to get rid of the talking but not on this game . This game is fun and like the best history lesson you will ever play . Recommended . This is not one your get bored of once youve started . Its also not a stupid hack and slash !!!

I have to agree with some of the other reviewers here that this could have been so much better. However saying that, I enjoyed this game a lot. Unlike some other games it had a great story that was not over in 5 minutes with some good and innovative ideas. You start with Jason and his goatee (famous Greek beard?) and Hercules who closely resembles a mountain and build up a good variety and shape of argonauts. The power up idea is a good one as well. The bad points were a few glitches, very dark areas that you need to set the brightness right up for and some pretty average graphics that look a little dated now. However for originality and enjoyment, 4 stars for me.

This game really annoys me. It had such a chance to be really good with sum gd graphics and ideas but it is to short and very repetitive within the game. Its an adventure game but u cant go where u please and has no real play value after it is completed. Better to rent this game than buy it

One of the best out there cant really be classed as an rpg more like a story hack and slash brilliant voice acting and story awesome sound as well by the guy who made 300 so is mega epic cant understand what people are on about with the graphics i think there top notch
The gameplay is excellent medusa achilles golden fleece all here if you enjoyed the old original film like me you will love this
