Preordered this as i was going to buy the xbox 360 any way but for 10 pound more i would get a 4 und game so got this one. Got it really quick and started playing on it all the time, now having more games i have moved away for gta so if it was that good id be on it all the time but it isnt really ,The xbox on its own would have got 5 star, but the game would have got a 3 so together i decided on a 4.

I have had next to no sleep since playing this. Play.Com yet again delivers. With unbelieveable value for money and delivery times superfast. GTA IV is the BEST game ever. The more you play the more you get hooked!!

Mine just arrived and as they said it is the later one with the Falcon motherboard etc, mine says manufactured 27.2.2008 so pretty pleased all round. Great deal.

The premium console does not allow you to connect to your wireless network straight out of the box. You have to purchase the XBox wireless network adapter or something equivalent if you want to connect to a wireless network.

I was desperate to buy this, what an offer! but apparently there is a problem with the product as the ones play.com have recieved have been without GTA 4 and this is why you are unable to buy the product at the moment, however they hope to solve it by this Friday so keep checking the website.

No this does not come with built in wireless, you have to buy the wireless adapter for around £60 or use your laptop/ computer for the wireless (free method) cant give details just research.

Apart from that this is a great deal received it on Friday very difficult to put down. For £200 its great, you also get 2 months free Xbox Live.

This deal saved me £45 on GTA. Making the 360 worth £155

There are plenty of games around that you buy for ~£10 to get you going.

and YES! The Premium does come with HDMI output now, as does the Elite.

Also a word of advice. I strongly advise against wireless gaming. you will discover large spikes in ping's. Laggy periods. Tiny fractures in the connection which can cause an entire match of a game to time out or quit. IT is only really worth it if you are playing within the same room as the router. Also, it is recommended you know what most of the settings do on a wireless router, as you may have to open ports, change MTU, disable the firewall.etc
and they are expensive.

on the other hand

Wired connections are consistently flawless and take no setting up or messing with settings. I converted to wired and it solved all my problems. i bought a £5 "switch" which lets me plug in my pc and 360 into the router via a cable running through the ceiling and it worked instantly without any problems.
