Pedal stoped working after 2 days

I read the reviews and thought I'd try the kit anyway. Good fun but I have to calibrate it to the TV every time I play (which I suppose is more of an issue with the game rather than the equipment here) and more irritatingly the pedal broke after 2 days. I was deliberately not heavy footed (after reading other similar reviews about the poor quality of the pedal) and it hasn't been knocked/thrown around or set up and put away repeatedly etc. The pedal is just plain cheap, expect a short life span (the pedal, not you obviously) if you buy........

The guitars strum bar stopped working, the red snare and the pedal broke through normal use. Atleast the mic is nice and sturdy.
