i enjoyed guitair hero but there was something about it, that didnt keep me hooked, and wasnt sure wether to buy this game or not but after a lot of hard thinking i decided to buy it and what really makes the game for me are the drums i cant get off them lol, the only thing is i get told off a lot because i get carried away stamping the bass pedal and turning my surround sound up so i get louder and louder its not good lol. Although an excellent game is really expensive for an extra £40 you can buy an xbox 360 its ridiculous but its the money you have to pay for it and it's a must have a game i never gave it 5 stars because of the price!

This game is awesome! The drums DON'T feel cheap, they work fine, they aren't too loud either. The guitar playing is very similar to Guitar Hero, almost the same, just a little easier, so if you liked Guitar Hero, you'll like this, as for the mic, I can't sing.

Dont get me wrong... I LOVE ROCK BAND AND THE EQUIPMENT IS GREAT but there are a couple of downsides to the Drums and the Guitar. (The Microfone is fine)

Well, The Guitar looks and feels great but as ive noticed it can be slightly noisy (yes surprisingly it is) whilst pressing the coloured buttons but the noise isnt dead loud it can just be slightly irritating at times.

Now the Drums are great and easy to set up and there really fun to play Rock Band with but as over 1 Million people who have served a strike against the problems with the drums, makes it slightly dissapointing. Basically the problems with the drums are the problems that you really dont want occuring whilst using them. (Serious Loud Noises-So you cant really hear the song your playing on Rock Band clearly which can be annoying unless you have your T.V at a fairly high volume, Foot pedal can break easily if not used in the right way and the most common incident is the actual drums to break and not work... atall. - but this is caused most likely by the user hitting them so hard that you damage the sensor inbetween the drums mechanism.

Yeah sure these problems can occur, but its caused by the lack of carelessness. Also some people have mentioned in the reviews that the equipment is pathetic bacause its made of plastic so therfore its cheap... Well your Xbox 360 and 360 Controllers have a plastic shell lol so stop complaining.

But overall this equipment is FANTASTIC and its worth the buy but i should consider play.com to reduce the price slightly because of the problems that idiots can cause to the drums.(And there is a Noise and Protection kit being released this month for the Drums so i recommend you purchase that aswell as the Drums.)

this game truly is great with a couple of friends, (especially if you have mates who THINK there good at singing lol) and anyone can join in on easy even my Dad! basically 4 Games in one, You got the Guitar,Drum And Vocal Solo tour, Which are set up like guitar hero, these are fun enough to play on your own but form a band with your mates and it is simply quality, buy this game you will not regret it. Oh And To Haze Dee where else would they put that the game is sold seperatly?

i absolutley love this game, excellent all round game. the reason it lost a star is because of packaging. i know this sounds very silly but inside that box are more boxes. have they every heard of recyling? and saving our planet. lol. the delivery was amazing, i ordered it on the monday night and it had reached me by wednesday mid-day. the game takes a little getting used to, e.g, the guitar buttons are more spaced out than the guitar hero gibson. the drums also take a little getting used to... this is because at first you hit the outter of the red and green coloured drums. after a while you get used to it though. if you're looking to buy this excellent piece of gaming kit. then buy it... its an amazing price to. i saved £30 compared to some of my friends who spent £130 just on this, never mind the game!! IT'S EXCELLENT! FANTASTIC! BRILLIANT! buy it!!

many people say that due to the big difference between prices with the u.s version and the u.k version you shouldn't buy this, and i thought that too, untill i saw on play thast the band in a box was only £100, ok so maybe it's still more expensive but add shipping costs, and price for an imported version and they are almost the same, so go ahead, buy it and trust me, you won't look back :)

I expected the game to come with this, because in my opinion Play were sneaky with this one.
I don't see how "Rock Band Game sold seperately" is a special feature.
But whatever 100 quid for 2 instruments and a mic, that's all good I guess.

I was a bit sceptical about buying rock band at first, but when i came to my senses and took the plunge to buy it i have never looked back since! This game is amazing and is the perfect game for a night/day (even a week) in with your friends to simply just rock out! Also great just to cure any sort of boredom!

Entertainment for hours

Ok so I opened up my "band in a box" and everything was there (apart from the Drum Sticks). So I guess I need to spend even more money and buy some drum sticks from somewhere.

The game is excellent, but I've gave this 2 stars because I'm missing a pair of drum sticks when it said on the box that they were included.

This box is pretty expensive as it is so eveything should have been included!
