Only complaint is the price. £70 is a bit much, but they are still definitely worth buying.
They are only noisy when you get the hang of it, but come on, you're hitting things so of course its gonna be noisy!

The drums themselves are a lot of fun, plus, if you are having trouble with noise pollution and blocky reactions from the pads, there are many ways you can modify them. Plus, the kick pedal dilemma has been fixed since they this. Plus, Play.com's usual free delivery makes this the cheapest way (on official sites) to get this kit new.

Also, it must be noted, playing these drums is more difficult than it looks. Start off easy or you'll hurt yourself. Unless you're experienced.

the drumming is awesome, its probably the best reason to buy rock band, especialy if you're able to do the guitar on expert from guitar hero practise but if found a few problems
1) with the X box button in the middle, its quite easy to miss a pad and hit the button and muck up your game
2) if you get too entusiastic with the kick pedal, you end up pushing the whole kit away as its quite light

the 3rd thing that i find a bit odd is the price. why is it £70, when for £30 more i can get the guitar (which is £60) AND the mic? surely £40 would me more suitable? i also dont really understand why you dont get a full bundle with game AND instruments like guitar hero does :s

as the tittle says, these are only niggly things, the game is great and i really enjoy it.

Absolutely brilliant! Just look into getting some drum pads to put over the coloured pads to reduce the noise a bit. They're relatively cheap and also give the drums some more protection.
The drum pedal can take some getting used to, but they seemed to have fixed the problems that had in America with it snapping due to excessive/heavy use.

Well where to start really i think this is goin to give guitar hero a run for it's money! although alot of ppl have picked up on it's abilty of not bein able 2 rolling on it i think it's extremely well made n wen your sittin infront of it you just can't wait to rock! i'm a major fan of the music games such as guitar hero's and sing stars i think there an awesome idea and give gamers a chance of bein more in the game, and this does it very well also you almost feel like part of the band. well worth the money will b interesting to see what they come out wiv next i think. If your a drummer already or ever been intrested in learnin get this and rock band and you will be hittin out sick breaks before you know it!

as the title says this is awesome, I don't have a set yet bought the game on it's own and use the Guitar hero 3 guitar. My mate bought the drums and they are brilliant, can't wait to afford my own. Yes they are noisy, but there are some silencer pads comming out for them. Watch this space, I am sure the guys at Play.com will have them soon. My only slight gripe is, I wish they had made the bar the notes go through slightly wider for the drums than the guitar. As unlike the guitar, with the drums you only get one chance to hit the note, and even on easy you use all 4 pads and the kick peddle. With the guitar you can see the notes comming and have the frets pressed ready. Other than that brilliant, on some of the songs you really feel like your playing them after only a couple of plays. If you like guitar hero you will be blown away with Rock Band, if you have the cash BUY IT!!!! like I said I can't wait to get my own set of drums

This is a great product and works really well with the game, although i just have one problem with it. Its too noisy! The noise thats the drums make is rather loud and off-putting. Iv heard that you can get pads to reduce noise. Ill have to try it out.

Other than that cant fault it.
