I dont understand why people are giving this game such a ribing on the reviews i mean, what did you expect something completely different gameplay wise thats not going to happen its just an expansion if you like on Guitar Hero 3, If your an aerosmith fan get the game if your not and you just like guitar hero 3, get the game otherwise stop complaining. It is what it is.

this is just a francise warmer just filling the gap until world tour comes out and this is not really worth the money
this is just ghIII but shorter and aerosmith based
only good thing is easy gamerscore

Guitar Hero 3 is a wicked game, and this is basically exacly the same, just based on aerosmith! So obviously people who don't like aerosmith probably wont find the choice of songs for them!

Still good, just for Guitar Hero addicts and Aerosmith fans only!

Like everyone says, the gameplay, graphics, overall, are exactly the same as Guitar Hero 3. They have however added some interesting parts. When you move to a new venue it shows you a video, from Aerosmith themselves doing an interview about this perticular part of their history, which i think is quite cool. Overall i agree that £40 is a bit much for it, works out at just under £1 a song, but you'll be pushed to find an array of such good songs, and it should keep me quiet, when added to GH3 and GH2 until Guitar Hero 4 comes round, or untill i become a millionaire, and can justify spending so much money on rockband!

Songs, mainly rubbish. Graphics the same a GH3, no real improvement. Massive let down and the price is rediculouse. Just keep to GH3

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Ok for the extra songs

Even though I quite like Aerosmith's music, I really took my time over buying this as £40 for what I think is 42 songs is steep. But because I was in desperate need of some new songs (as download content is rare as hens teeth), I "bit the bullet" bought it. As a GH fan (I've got 2 and 3 already + all the download content for them), I'm quite pleased with the game, although I think it should be priced at around £30 as it's not really a full game. 4 hours of playing and I'd gone through the career mode on medium and unlocked the acheivments to go with it, which if you've played GH before will be REALLY easy.

This is a good game. Pretty much the same as Guitar Hero 3 but for the Aerosmith fans. Some good songs but as i said, all but the same. Also can people stop moaning that "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing" isn't on here, it doesn't have enough guitar solo's etc on it!

Customer rating: 2 out of 5 stars Full price game?

Ok first things first, the price tag is way to much for 40 songs, and dam its easy. I sight read my way through expert and the only song I got 3 stars on was "Train kept a rollin". The hammer on and offs have followed rock band as in u have to hit em dead on the money to play the note, unlike the old guitar hero games (its a game not real guitar. I think this is a bad idea cus u have the note pressed but oh no ur 2 secs to early multiplier gone). I have only given it 2 stars cus I am a fan of the guitar hero games, my advice wait for gh4.

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars too expensive

well i rekon they should have brung out a Rage against the machine guitar hero in my opinion which wud hav been way way better as this game hardly has any decent songs on apart from walk this way and always on the run which isnt even by aerosmith, so doesnt tht say summit bout them as a band. the price is way too high it shud be around 30 quid at the most, easy achievements tho! And dmc as a guitarist is cool!!!

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars Good but full price for cut number?

Theres not enough songs!
Its too easy!
Theres not "Dont wanna miss a thing"
However tough if you cant play it with a rockband guitar, its a guitar hero game and it does exactly as it says on the tin..."IT IS AEROSMITHS GAME!"
So obviously it is a game catering to their fans and hopefully newcomers so theres you r warning, if you like guitar hero then you have nothing to worry about.
