An Excellent Buy For An Astonishing Price!

This is for the retro fans or quite simply for people who just loved Pac-Man and simply miss the little yellow fellow. For the price you would pay for these games on X-Box Live Arcade and then there is the price here, you will find yourself alot better off. A lot of people who also purchase these titles find it difficult to unlock the achievements and like I was, are confused how. Well you just need to finish your play through on the title, for example run out of lives. And there is a massive 1800 gamerpoints to be scored here I simply say it is a must have for any retro lords or anyone looking for a quick bit of old school fun!

  Here come the golden oldies!

very poorly put together apart from the live arcade games that have been remade and revamped.thats why the game is split in to menus all the old retro stuff i.e rolling thunder which i loved dont run full screen no extra options poor lazy conversion and annoying loading times no classic from ther great archive like pacland etc would have been great.if your after a old school gameing collection on xbox360 get the megadrive collection.simple the best lets hope capcom collection wont be as bad as this.

Stacks of Games, but no extras, and poor Live Implementation

With the massive space DVD offers I was expecting not only a good selection of games (which we 'do' get), but also extras such as manual and flier scans, along with interviews and other media. Instead, you get the games and nothing else, which seems a real wasted opportunity to me.

I was also looking forward to being able to upload my scores to Xbox Live, but sadly, only 6 of the 30+ titles allow you to do this, meaning challenging your mates at some of Namco's finest are sadly out of the question.

The final disappointment is that instead of putting on the fantastic 'Arranged' titles Namco produced in the mid 90's for their 'Classic Collection' arcade PCBs, we get some poor versions of Pacman, Dig Dug and Galaga released back in 2005.

Overall, I feel that the selection of games is fantastic (although the lack of Pacland was a disappointment), but this could have been so much more.
