Based on Universal Pictures' action-thriller "Wanted," starring James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman and Angelina Jolie, the Wanted videogame, Wanted: Weapons of Fate, promises to deliver the same fantastic visual style, in-your-face attitude and edge-of-your-seat action as the blockbuster motion picture.

In Wanted: Weapons of Fate players continue the story of hero Wesley Gibson, picking up the action where the film left off to create an entirely new chapter exploring both Wesley's journey to becoming an unmatched überassassin and the epic fiction of "The Fraternity."

Featuring intense third-person action, Wanted: Weapons of Fate will take combat to the next level with iconic moves such as "Curving Bullets" and "Assassin Time" drawn directly from the film, as well as an innovative, multi-layered cover mechanic.

Top 100  Reviewer Top 10 PC Reviewer Top 100 Mobile Reviewer

The best 3rd person game i have played in a long time. It's about time, there are too many first person shooters, and thank god GRIN made this one 3rd person. Though the cover system is the same as Gears Of War, its more brushed up and flashy. The controls are brilliant you can curve bullets and it will show this slow motion view and the sound of the bullet spinning, great effects.

The cover system is very good, you can dive in slow motion and shoot from cover, and even if the enemy is just beside you taking cover, from cover you can knife them in a flashy way. They have got every move pretty much covered, the whole point of the game is to be the assassins from the game but without it being cheesy. Graphics could be a tad little better but its still a very good game, in which i liked it so much i played it 4 times over on the demo.

When you master the controls, it becomes even better. I am going to BUY THIS GAME.

WORTH DOWNLOADING THE DEMO - to download when your xbox 360 is turned off, go into - System Settings then Shutdown, and then background- enabled.

 Excellent Fun.....

and now a great price ! Yes the game is short but why play it until you finish it in one go ? Personally I get much more value from the games I play by playing for half hour at a time. Each to their own I guess. Great game, take your time with it and savour the experience!

Not bad, not amazing...... but not bad

As the last guy says, definately rent this game... I bought it purely because I'm a fan of the comic/film (although it would have been better if they were a fraternity of supervillains like the comic depicts IMO).
The game is graphically good. The smooth run cover is cool as is the moves you can do coming out of cover too.
As already mentioned the game is SOOOOO short. I completed it on Assassin mode and found it to be too easy. Now I have unlocked 'The killer' mode, when I eventually replay it I hope that it offers more of a challenge. Note that when I say 'Eventually', there are too many other good games out at the mo that I will be spending my time on.

 Its ok

Die hards will not enjoy this game. If you loved the comic you thought the film was a let down I bet....well how do you think that a comic to film to game adaptation has went?

Answer not well

Story line aside the game mechanics are not great. Yes the bullet curving feature is cool but becomes increasingly repetitive and half the time the guy you just shot gets back up again. So you do the same move, the same little movie appears and then the guy dies.

The demo level gets boring real quick. All you do is move from cover to cover run about a little bit with what feels totally unresponsive and slug like. I cringe thinking about a whole game like this. You should be running around like a bad ass mother****** capping bad guys left right and centre instead your knocking about behind a crate trying to shoot guys. The introduction of slowing down time is not new and again its ok but not amazing.John Woos stranglehold and hell even Ye old Max Payne does it better than this. One cool point is the hand to hand mechanic its again boring but looks cool you hit a button and then your character hands out some brutality it does have some feel to it. One of the rare good points.

They need to revamp the controls massively it should feel like ninja gaiden meets Gears Of War....it doesn't. Its got along way to go before i would consider dropping £40 on it

I very rarely slate games. But based on this demo alone i would suggest you leave it. Try the demo make your own mind up though.

 WOW

If you like Gears of War, then this game is for you. This game is in my top 10 games of all time. I don't usually replay games once I complete them, but this I can play over an over, it is that good. Brilliant control system makes this game a joy to play.
