Bit of a Sorry Excuse for a Zombie Game

| | See all BlueRogue's reviews (151)

I'm so sick of the same games coming out all the time. If it's not a zombie kill-a-thon it's another Gears of War clone and despite Onechanbara's attempt at trying to be a slightly different zombie game, it still remains the same regardless of the gimmick.
The gimmick of course is that you play a scantily clad cowgirl samurai with her school girl sister and to make sure that no one forgets about guns you also play a blonde American from surprise, surprise a secret service.
First off your not going to get much that hasn't been done before and better by other games. Secondly in order to obtain most of the achievements you must fight in certain ways and they are very tight lipped about what they are and in a game with such shallow gameplay it doesn't help. Thirdly the game is easy, no matter what difficulty your set on, the game is just so easy that it's a joke, and lastly the story along with the whole Bikini Zombie Slayer gimmick is entirely redundant.
Overall the game will entertain you for a bit but once you realise how easy the game is you'll quickly get bored and wish you had a different game.
One more thing I forgot to mention, you can select white blood. I'll let you figure out why you can select white blood.

 Pretty violent and fun

The contrrols aren't that hard and the gameplay is really fun. It is very gory and the game itself is pretty funny in a way.

 A repititive arcade-like game

It's got zombies and scantily clad females weilding samurai swords. What more do you need to know?

if button bashing is your thing.....

If button bashing is your thing.....buy this but be warned its very repetitive and in order to kill certain bad guys(blood mists) you have to perform a certain number of "cool" moves on them with no break which is hard (for me anyway!) to do you're timing has to be spot on every time which is (yawns) boooring so if you like tekken etc you might like this graphics are ok and you have some sexy female characters bouncing around the screen which isn't hard on the eyes just don't expect too much! I don't get why its an 18 though theres no swearing or nudity and your just slicing up the undead !!
