Review

Acclaimed action director John Woo presents Stranglehold, a stunning 3rd-person action adventure videogame. A "spiritual sequel" to Woo's action masterpiece, "Hard Boiled," Stranglehold redefines the action gaming experience with its acrobatic gunplay, thrilling cinematography, frenetic combat and incredible Massive Destructibility (Massive D). Chow Yun-Fat reprises his signature role as Inspector Tequila, pitting gamers as a take no-prisoners cop waging a personal war with Hong Kong crime lords. Tequila's loyalties to the force are tested when his ex-wife is kidnapped by the Russian mob in Chicago. Tequila struggles to balance his duty to uphold the law with doing what it takes to save his family.

i got this today...not expectingm uch, but i was totally blown away!

although the camera angle is too close, some enviroments can get a bit claustrophobic in gun fights, its a good game! the levels are reasonbly linear, and quite short, except the 2nd. There arent many weapon choices, and you cant really carry much ammo...

tequila time is fun, and lsiding down rails shooting dudes is pretty fun

graphics and sound are pretty average...

and thats all i have to say about that!

:D

Short but sweet i can only say about stranglehold the amazing gameplay and amazin character models make this a worthy purchase. Now this game i waited for a long time just looked like a better version of max payne. And i played it and it is great now chow yun fat being in a game is very weird becauase he is an actor but the style chow yun fat has got is put well together in this game. Definetley a must own for chow yun fat fans and stylish action.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Good But Unfortunately Short

Great game with none stop action and a good story line the whole way through I like how they have made it like a film to. The shooting and different destructive attacks are very cool and the online play is very entertaining. The only reason I have not given this game 5* is because it is very short but £25 is a good price so if you do not have this game buy now.
