I reccommend this to anyone who likes an action packed game, full of gaming entertainment which will get you addicted to G.O.W, and i cant wait for G.O.W 2!!!

One of the best single player games I've ever seen.. Absolutely addicted to it.. The one problem is that the multiplayer function isn't up to scratch (Though I didn't buy this for a while after it had came out and was used to CoD4).

But if you want a good single player game, this is probably the best.

Hope GoW2 has a better online system then it'll be perfect.

Im giving it 10 out of 10 cuse this is the most addictive game iv ever played! the graphics are umbelivable the sound affects when you pop a head is really cool!! iv played the story countless times!! the reload system is hard to get used to at first but once you get used to it you wont be able to put down your controller!! Bring on gears 2!!!!!

I was hyped for this game ever since I saw the first trailer and it didn't disappoint.
The single player is short but good and the multiplayer is pretty damn fun. The amount of gore makes this a very fun game with a great range of weapons.
The multiplayer is a fun experience with friends but can prove a little boring on your own.
I'd recommend this even if you don't have XBL.

I didn't buy this my dad did, after playing the opening level on the campaign i was hooked. The game is awesome the campaign has one of the best story lines ive ever played although it is slightly short. Online it gets even better. Although there are a lot of gllitches there are ways of stopping the glitchers. But if your in a fair match the adrenaline flow is constant! Great game

This is a breathtaking game with some of the best graphics around. All the characters are brilliant and the storyline is great, not much of the characters background's are revealed in this game but I think it was meant to be that way to leave the door open for Gears Of War 2 which is going to reveal many things from past and present in the Gears Of War world. I always go back to this game time and time again. Its great to complete then leave for a month or so and then go back and do it all over again, not many games make you do that, and this game will be getting kept as long as the 360 is alive. Its meant to become a trilogy which would be absolute class. All the weapons are great and the whole mission from start to finish is amazing with no time to rest because its a constant shootout. The cover system is what it's all about because without it, you would get blown to bits over and over again, Really cannot wait for Gears Of War 2 so we can pick up the story where we left off. A must buy just like the 2nd and 3rd game will be. 10/10

5 star doesnt do this game justice. Its simply amazing and deffinatly my favorite game ever. The single player campaign is a compfortable lenght not to bore the player but also not so it ends just as ur getting into it. With spiltscreen and online co-op available u can play with a friend, as long as u only have one as its only 2 player co-op.
Online is where this game really shines. Warzone- No respawns 4 v 4 last team alive win the round. The maps are small enought 2 keep the game moving fast but not so small theres no room for tactics.
Finally the gore of this game ensures that every single kill feels like such an achievement. Ive killed many thousands of ppl and i still feel like a king whn i pop off some1s head of shoot them 2 their knees and stamp them into the ground.

I first played this on Co-op round a mates house not really thinking i would like it much.... How wrong i was!
The gameplay is perfect, i can see nothing that needs changing there. The mindless shooting and subtle puzzle solving is what really attracted me to this game. And unlike many games every level is different with a bit more shooting and a few more puzzles.
The graphics are outstanding, even in the dark sections of the game (on a big tv) you can see all the little details.
The sound is brutal, i love it! some of the creatures have an awful scream which cuts through your brain like a small jack hammer drilling away the layers of mentality, but it just goes so well with the game.
This is the sort of game you have to take a break from otherwise you will never stop.
I fell in love with this title and can only hope the second is just an extension of the game and that they havent changed anything major.
Overall 10/10, Superb in any gamers stack!

I did complete this on the hardest setting, both as the two characters for the achievements, and it was ok. But to me it seems asif this game is so over rated.
