the xbox is a great console, n is this the real price for a core? very cheap, and i would give this a 4/5 star if it was reliable... the huge downfall of this console is the red rings, i dont play my xbox for extremely long periods, but still i have had 3 different xboxs from hardware faults, and paying 50-60 pound each time just to fix it, and to add to that ive had 1 broke controller and 2 broken microphone headsets
which i think is absolutely stupid and im not happy about paying out all this extra money. there charging money for the product, money for games, then for live every month, replacing wired controllers and wired headsets and now to fix everyones xbox's once a year, microsoft have gotta up the game, and fix the problems

is it worth me buying a new core console, over repairing my old with hardware fault with 3 red rings?
and
anyone know if the newer stock of consoles are more reliable?

If you're looking for a console what's affordable, I recommend this. The only thing I don't like about the Xbox's is that you have to pay for online gaming; otherwise, I think that the Xbox 360 Console is brilliant.

you don't need a new one. you can fix the red ring. the xbox system is effectively a microsoft computer, and the red ring basically shuts of some of the subsystems inside. if you take it to a PC repair shop who can fix microsoft products, they should be able to repair it for you.
