I have known people who have experienced some trouble with the wireless controller but the wired controller has no problems at all.
Also, i have recently brought pes 2009 on pc (amazing game) and was just wondering whether the wired xbox 360 controller would work with this game on windows vista??

Yeah its a need for a xbox 360 and i think the extra cost for a wirless one isn't needed. This done the job and if your sitting that far away your lead doesn't reach your too far away! lol
